It is important to note that the property owner was contacted and he verified that no such permission to trespass upon Crawford’s Trailer Park property was ever given to Police Chief Jeff Gilbert, Duty Sgt. Xavier Frausto or any other member of QPD. Earlier this year, the manager of Crawford’s had served the Quartzsite Town Manager Alexandra Taft with a formal demand to cease this police harassment and stop trespassing without a warrant, or without being specifically called to the property by a resident of the park.

In Quartzsite, AZ the property line is wherever it favors the incumbent "mayor"! Councilman Jerry Lukkason is caught in a secret meeting that morning with Town Building Official Al Johnson. Listen to Johnson's phone conversation carefully...Public Works employee Emmett Brinkerhoff is on the way with his trusty tape measure. Where is the property line? No one really knows for sure because Business 10 (Main St.) was widened and all the existing signs appear to be "encroaching". The big sign which reads "YUO CANT FIX STUPID BUT YOU CAN VOTE THEM OUT" is relocated to the corner, which belongs to the sate and not the Town.
The hour long encounter between Quartzsite Police Chief Jeff Gilbert, Detective Rodriguez, illegally appointed mayor Wes Huntley and his campaign cheerleaders against mayoral candidate Ed Foster and local business operators (Harris and Jones) in an educational edited format. It should be known that Wes Huntley called the property owner to get permission to put up some campaign signs two weeks earlier, but waited until the morning of the next Town Council meeting to act. He put up over thirty signs on one lot, in what appears to be an attempt to incite Jones and Harris into a confrontation that would potentially justify their arrest. Coincidentally, two weeks earlier, Wes Huntley had the police throw Harris out of the Council meeting for disputing the Police Chief's denial of a documented event that took place at her business two years earlier. The timing question raises the issue: did Huntley as mayor, pull documents at Town Hall to get the landlord's phone number in retaliation for Harris bringing prior police misconduct to light?

4/13/10 Very early Tuesday morning we encountered our illegally appointed "mayor" putting up campaign signs on the property we leased for our seasonal business. The "mayor" had police on standby across the street and we believe they conspired to provoke us because we posted campaign signs for the reform candidates running for Mayor and Town Council on our business...Note we were walking our dog and kept a safe distance from "mayor" Wes Huntley. We did not threaten him or the two women helping him. We did not even get close enough to identify them! As we went to grab our video camera, I jokingly turned and said "small signs for small minds!" and watch this video to see what happened next...
