They all met up one fine day at the local grocery store to discuss their future plans for the band. Bogey's inspirational-yet-powerful lyrics, along with Andrew's haunting voice set the tone for the AKEx Breakthrough in the underground scene. It wasn't long until their first hit "I like Two Run" made it big in the U.K. (Later renamed: "I lik ...e 2 Run", and then localized as "I like to Run" in the U.S.A). Once AKEx exposed themselves to the market in the United States, they decided to take a more political route with "Gluttony in the USA." Like all bands, there have been some creative differences- Andrew likes to sing about food and running while Bogey likes to sing about corruption in politics. It wasn't long until these two clashing philosophies came together to create the masterpiece that is "Pete O'File" - A song about that guy on all our blocks who eats a lot of candy and corrupts the youth (a man whom you should, obviously, run from)!
