<p>I find ... it (IT) interesting since my father gave me his open reel stereo tape recorder when I was 14 and a broken radio to take apart at age 15. When I was 17, I shot my first video, for the summer festival of the school I went to. At that time, the school had one of the early portable (well, 15 kg) open-reel video tape recorders made by Akai. I went to study electrical engineering, taught myself computers (BASIC on a department-store display Commodore PET, about 1980) and from then on was a bit of computer geek in the companies I worked for. In Japan, I joined the Tokyo PC User Group in 1988, served as its president for one year, and kept introducing IT innovation in the company I work for.</p>
