The Divine Mercy Network, Inc. is a Catholic media organization utilizing all forms of modern communication, including the Internet, wireless technology, television, radio and print to proclaim the Gospel message of Divine Mercy.

Membership is open to all who recognize that even the strongest faith is of no avail without works and therefore each member promises to ...glorify and pay reverence to God's Mercy by putting their faith into action. As an unquestionable proof of love for God, each member of the Divine Mercy Network promises to perform at least one act of mercy every day by deed, word or prayer.

In joyful service to Christ and His Church every member is committed to supporting the Divine Mercy Network’s mission of utilizing modern communication technology to encourage all souls to Ask for God’s mercy, to Be merciful and to Completely trust in Jesus Christ, Who is Love and Mercy Itself.

Participating in the New Evangelization, the Divine Mercy Network has the mission of sharing the profound message that is the very Heart of the Gospel. It is the message of Jesus Christ who is Love and Mercy poured out for our salvation. Both Scripture and Tradition teach that Divine Mercy is the greatest attribute of God. At the Crucifixion God allowed His Mercy to triumph over His Justice in Jesus Christ His only Son, our Lord. When His Sacred Heart was pierced on the Cross blood and water poured out (John 19:34) and the eternal fountain of Divine Mercy was opened for all.

In the Jubilee Year of 2000 Pope John Paul II declared that the Second Sunday of Easter would henceforth be named Divine Mercy Sunday for the Universal Church. The Holy Father spoke those words during the first canonization of the new millennium, when the Polish nun known as Sister Maria Faustina (1905-1938) was raised to the Honors of the Altar and became universally known as Saint Maria Faustina, the Apostle of Divine Mercy in our times.

Her canonization and the Pope’s proclamation took place on April 30, 2000, which Providentially was Divine Mercy Sunday that year.

Pope John Paul II took the opportunity of Sister Faustina’s canonization in Rome to fulfill God’s desire for the Holy Catholic Church, which Christ had given to this humble Polish nun in the 1930’s. Saint Faustina faithfully recorded in her diary the words of our Merciful Savior. Jesus told her “I desire that the first Sunday after Easter be the Feast of Mercy . . . On that day the very depths of My tender Mercy are open . . . let no soul fear to draw near to Me . . . I am giving them the last hope of salvation; that is, the Feast of My Mercy . . . I shall heal and strengthen them.”

The Divine Mercy Network was conceived on the first Sunday after Easter, April 23, 2006, Divine Mercy Sunday. Through it’s Internet Television Channel www.divinemercy.tv, the network is working to provide a variety of high quality video and audio productions that will be educational, inspirational and entertaining. Using the most modern means of communication we share the last hope of mankind, which is recourse to God’s mercy.

Our online programming at www.divinemercy.tv includes analysis of current events in light of Sacred Scripture and Sacred Tradition and also provides devotional content to touch the heart, deepen prayer and inspire hope in every area of life. The Divine Mercy Network provides content that appeals to all ages and is family oriented.

Recognizing the central role of prayer in the life of every Christian and in response to God’s command that the faithful pray constantly for the conversion of sinners, each member of the Divine Mercy Network promises to pray daily, with a contrite heart and with faith, the words given to Saint Faustina by the Lord Himself:

O BLOOD AND WATER
WHICH GUSHED FORTH FROM THE HEART OF JESUS
AS A FOUNTAIN OF MERCY FOR US,
I TRUST IN YOU!

The logo for Divine Mercy Network, Inc. consists of The Image of The Divine Mercy, surrounded with the “Covenant Colors.” The colors: purple, scarlet & blue are what the Lord told Moses to use in the construction of the Temple, specifically to cover the "Ark of the Testimony." Exodus, chapters 25-28, 35-36 & 38"

These colors surrounded the Holy of Holies in the Temple, separating the Holy Place from the Most Holy Place where the Ten Commandments were kept in the Ark, on which was found the “Mercy Seat.”

This was a foreshadowing of Jesus Christ, the Eternal High Priest and the Eternal Mercy Seat Whose Sacrifice on Calvary is forever offered to the Eternal Father in expiation and reparation for the sins of humanity. The New Ark is Mary, the Immaculate Virgin Mother who carried in her womb and gave birth to the fulfillment of the Old Covenant Promise of Mercy, Jesus Christ. She is the Mother of Mercy…

Providentially the colors given by God to Moses of purple, scarlet and blue perfectly correspond to the colors of the human heart. These are the colors of the Sacred Human Heart of Jesus Christ – The Divine Mercy. These three colors remind us of God’s Divinity in the purple (Divine), the Precious Blood of Christ in the scarlet (Mercy) and of the Blessed Virgin Mary, who brings her children to Christ, in her blue mantle (Network). These are the colors of Divine Mercy Network
