From: LoZ-Ocarina of Time Music by: Koji Kondo Arrangement by: LokaNaranja Sheet Music/Tabs: None :( Ocarina: Double Ocarina Once again, in honor of the OoT 10th Annivesary (11/21/08), here is July's Zelda song...uploaded on the last day of the month, lol. I want to thank my special guest for taking time out of her very busy schedule to help me out with this song...she played it beautifully! Please drop by her channel and check out her work: http://youtube.com/lokanaranja
Specifications Length: 5 inch. (12.5 cm) Range: Soprano C (A5-F7) Weight: 3 oz. Review Summary DESIGN - Professional Look - Made from Purple Clay (Purple Sand) - Purple Clay absorbs moisture from the air breathed into it as you play. This will create a more clear and resonant tone over time. DURABILITY - Clay is more dense than other clays, making it more durable. - It is still clay however, so please take care during transporting, and while playing. WEIGHT -Very light, making it a good choice for on the go. PLAYABILITY - Because of it's small size, it is better suited for small, to medium size hands. SOUND - Has a very sweet tone - Sounds good straight out of the box, but tone improves the more you play it This has become my favorite Soprano Ocarina because of it's professional look, sound, and portability, and I've no doubt it'll become a favorite in anyone's collection. ------------------------------------ Featured Songs: Diddy Kong Racing (Main Theme) Under the Sea (The Little Mermaid) God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen (Christmas Carol)
Composed by: Franz SchubertArrangement by: Docjazz4 & heartBtrueOcarinas: Purple Clay Tenor & Purple Clay SopranoThis song was actually one of my first requests from a viewer, but it somehow fell between the cracks. I'm very happy that I was finally able to perform this beautiful song and I hope it was worth the wait :)I would like to thank my guest accompanist, heartBtrue, for doing an amazing job with this piece! She's a wonderful pianist and she makes some awesome videos. Check out her channel: Youtube.com/heartbtrueThanks for watching and enjoy!Note: The key was changed from Bb major to F major to sound better on the Alto C and Soprano C ocarinas.
From: LoZ-Ocarina of Time Music by: Koji Kondo Arrangement by: Docjazz4 Sheet Music/Tabs: None :( Ocarina: Purple Clay Tenor I want to thank my special guests who really were a huge help with this video, "Jorel". They're terrific guitarists and it was a pleasure working with them! Before people start asking, here are some details about the video... - The percussion in the background is my egg shaker - I edited with iMovie HD and the "Splitscreen & PiP" plugin from This rendition is not in the original key (F#min). We had to change it to "Amin" to work with the ocarina O_o - I composed the ocarina Intro and Outro, and no, I don't have tabs/sheets for it. Sorry :(
Link: Length: 7 inch. (17 cm) Range: Alto C (A4-F6) Weight: 7 1/2 oz. -Review Summary- DESIGN - Professional Look - Made from Purple Clay (Purple Sand) - Purple Clay absorbs moisture from the air breathed into it as you play. This will create a more clear and resonant tone over time. DURABILITY -Purple Clay is more dense than other clays, making it more durable. - It is still clay however, so please take care during transporting, or while playing. WEIGHT - At 7.5 ounces, it's a little heavier than other Alto C's I've played, and I believe that's because the clay is more dense. I adjusted fairly quickly, however, so it shouldn't cause any problems. PLAYABILITY - With the exception of the weight, it is just as easy to play as other Alto C's. SOUND - May sound airy when first removed from box, but does improves with time, the more you use it. Overall, if you're looking for professional quality ocarina with alot of potential, I know you'll enjoy the Purple Clay Tenor! ------------------------------------ Featured Songs: Ave Marie (Schubert) Trust and Obey (Traditional Hymn) Flow Gently Sweet Afton (Away in a Manger)
From: Final Fantasy 7 Music by: Nobuo Uematsu Arrangement by: Docjazz4 Sheet Music/Tabs: None :( Ocarina: Purple Clay Soprano C This tune has been requested by several subscribers, and if you keep up with my channel, you know it's been waiting at the top of my "Future Oc Videos" playlist, lol. I hope you like my first attempt at a Final Fantasy tune :) I know the original is in the key of E minor, but since the song requires the full range of this Oc, I had to drop it down to D minor. This was the first time I picked up a bass guitar, and I rarely touch the drums these days. Special thanks to my bros for sharing their instruments :) Enjoy!
Specifications: Length: 4 ¾ inch, or 12 cm Range: Alto C (A4-F6) Weight: about 6 ¼ oz. - Available in several colors - Very Crisp Tone - Wouldn't recommend wearing for long periods of time - Better suited for small hands Featured Songs: - Sadness and Sorrow (Naruto) - Mercede's Lullaby (Pan's Labyrinth) - Kakariko Village (LoZ:OoT)
I was recently invited to perform at a local college's Renaissance Recital, and we performed this 16th Century Italian piece (the composer was anonymous). It was alot of fun (especially dressing up), and I thank them for the opportunity. Enjoy! It's performed on my 12-Hole Purple Clay Tenor Ocarina from stlocarina.com (
This is one of my favorite songs from Sesame Street, written by Jeff Moss. It's just...so beautiful... *tear* I don't know why, but I think it sounds better on headphones and it's performed on my 12-Hole Horn Ocarina from stlocarina.com. Enjoy! Lyrics: Well, I'd like to visit the moon On a rocket ship high in the air Yes, I'd like to visit the moon But I don't think I'd like to live there Though I'd like to look down at the earth from above I would miss all the places and people I love So although I might like it for one afternoon I don't want to live on the moon I'd like to travel under the sea I could meet all the fish everywhere Yes, I'd travel under the sea But I don't think I'd like to live there I might stay for a day there if I had my wish But there's not much to do when your friends are all fish And an oyster and clam aren't real family So I don't want to live in the sea I'd like to visit the jungle, hear the lions roar Go back in time and meet a dinosaur There's so many strange places I'd like to be But none of them permanently So if I should visit the moon Well, I'll dance on a moonbeam and then I will make a wish on a star And I'll wish I was home once again Though I'd like to look down at the earth from above I would miss all the places and people I love So although I may go I'll be coming home soon 'Cause I don't want to live on the moon No, I don't want to live on the moon
After hundreds of requests, I've finally made a Bolero of Fire video. But this is the Docjazz4 interpretation, haha. Although it is based on the song from the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, my arrangement was inspired by the Boleros which originated from Spain in the late 18th Century and later re-invented in Cuba. I've been planning this video since November of last year and you have no idea how relieved I am to finally finish it! I hope you enjoy what I'd like to call, "Mi Bolero del Fuego"! As always, special thanks to Koji Kondo for composing such amazing music and my family for enduring my annoying practice sessions :P This song is performed on my Double Ocarina from and that's me playing piano and guitar :P )
