Thirty years ago, I came to the realization that the carbon life forms we call humans had strayed far from their very nature that was programmed in their DNA 250,000 years ago. We are outdoor creatures that once roamed the land ten to twenty miles a day in search of food and wat ...er. We were very strong and powerful beings. Today, we tend to be fat, weak, sick and tired.
There were several events in our history that began to alter our health. When our ancient relatives in 1,800 BC began to grow crops, build homes and villages, and move indoors, our collective health started to weaken. In the late 1800’s, canned foods started to appear and we started moving away from fresh, whole foods to preserved foods void of any nutrition. Then, at the advent of the industrial revolution, things really started to impinge on what good health remained, and we started taking our lunch pails to work—the first version of fast foods.
As a former firefighter paramedic in San Diego CA, I came across an alarming number of people whose 911 calls for help arose from medical emergencies they created because of their negligent life styles. Many ignored their unhealthy way of life and poor diet and ended up looking up at me from their collapsed position on the floor, while suffering great pain from their heart attack. Those many looks of terrified bewilderment never left my mind's eye.
This ignorance of how life works on a carbon planet has put our society at risk. The people of the United States are short-lived people. Our society is at great risk of collapsing totally because of our failure to protect our most important national resource—our health.
The last few years of my life have been spent striving to understand the unappreciated relationship we have with the elements of the Earth and other life forms on this carbon planet of ours and how they form a synergistic relationship with us. We are made up of 100 trillion bacteria whose sole mission in life is to keep us alive. How we treat our “bugs†determines our health, happiness and longevity.
I teach people how to prevent illnesses or, if they do get sick, how heal themselves. I prefer teaching people to heal themselves rather than having them become co-dependent on me as they did when I practiced reactive medicine as paramedic.
I currently reside in South Florida, but counsel my “students†all over the United States and the world.
My efforts to help people and guide them to ensure a longer and happier life has culminated into an effort to bring research and studies on line for all to benefit.
I recommend browsing through my blogs and visiting links I post here if you are looking for answers to your own health issues or those of loved ones. I further encourage you to contact me, through this website, for counseling if you are truly interested in changing your lifestyle and returning to the Garden and taking that path less traveled to a youthful, long and happy life. Our DNA designed us to live to 115 years. Any less than that, we have died prematurely.
I wish you well,
Dr. Lou
