Welcome to the "Emstone" page, featuring the songs of BMI songwriter/music publisher Mitchell Stone.

For many years, Mitchell Stone was a radio disc jockey in Nashville, Tampa and Orlando. He founded Emstone Music Publishing in 1997, and the songwriter-resource site SongwritersBestSong.com in 2009.

As a songwriter himself, Mitch is prolific, havi ...ng written the words and music for such songs as "New York City," "Life is a Song (Tribute to Writers)" and many others which appear on the "Songwriter Mitchell Stone" Facebook page. Mitch also wrote the words for the classy 2011 releases "You Put the Me in Merry Christmas"; "Airplane Slow Lane" (about one flyer's frustration over airport security-screening procedures--VERY funny!); and "Don't Die With the Music In You." His "My Christmas Card to You" was recorded by movie icon Marni Nixon.
