Former member of the 101st Airborne Division. HooooooAAH! I'm in my third retirement, first as a helicopter pilot for 30 years. Second and still at it from time to time, driving tour buses for entertainers. Currently, and for several years, I have focused my efforts in Mississippi and Louisiana to clean and remove hurricane debri, (mostly ...trees) from waterways, rivers and bayou's. Yes, we are still cleaning up after Katrina and Rita. Mother nature is very messy and no matter how much money or manpower you direct toward that recovery, there will still be massive amounts of work to do years from now.. and my guess is probably up until just about the time we are hit by another storm. Along the way, I have practiced the art of photography. I hope to put what I've learned to good use on Metacafe both for your pleasure and mine.. and of course the money can't hurt. Let me know what you think and send me suggestions. Oh yea, I have also tried to practice the art of living life like it was the only one i will get. It never fails to leave me in a state of Wonder and Awe. It inspires me greatly. It emboldens me, maybe too much sometimes, and then there are those times when it just flat out humbles me. For good or bad, it is what it is and the worst thing anyone can do, is to take it for granted.
