The game is set to be released for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in Q1/Q2 2019. The game also features vehicular combat, with the player being able to drive any vehicle in the game's world.

Venom is an upcoming American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name, produced by Columbia Pictures in association with Marvel and distributed by Sony Pictures Releasing. It is intended to be the first film in Sony's Marvel Universe, adjunct to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The film is directed by Ruben Fleischer from a screenplay by Scott Rosenberg, Jeff Pinkner, and Kelly Marcel, and stars Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock / Venom, alongside Michelle Williams, Riz Ahmed, Scott Haze, and Reid Scott. In Venom, journalist Brock is bound to an alien symbiote that gives him superpowers. Sony began developing a Venom film after the character made his cinematic debut in Spider-Man 3 (2007). After various iterations, work on a new version began in March 2017 to start a new shared universe featuring the Marvel characters to which Sony possessed the film rights, though Sony also intends for the film to share the world of Spider-Man: Homecoming, which is set in the MCU after a deal between Sony and Marvel Studios. Rosenberg and Pinkner were set to write, with Fleischer and Hardy added in May 2017. Principal photography began in October 2017, taking place in Atlanta, New York City, and San Francisco. Venom was released in the United States on October 5, 2018 and was #1 in the Box Office and had the largest October release with over $80 Million.

Spider-Man 3 is a 2007 action-adventure video game loosely based on the Spider-Man 3 film and released for Game Boy Advance, Microsoft Windows, Nintendo DS, PlayStation 2, Wii, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3 on May 4, 2007. A PlayStation Portable version was released on October 17, 2007. The GameCube and Xbox versions of the game were planned for release, but both were cancelled due to low sales for Xbox and limited resources for GameCube along with Shrek the Third and The Simpsons Game. The game's plot expands on the film by including additional characters and elements from the Spider-Man comic books and the Marvel Universe. Depending on the platform, different villains from the comics are featured, but all versions of the game feature the film's 3 main antagonists: New Goblin, Sandman and Venom. Tobey Maguire, James Franco, Topher Grace, Thomas Haden Church, and J. K. Simmons reprised their roles from the film. Kirsten Dunst, who portrayed Mary Jane Watsonin the film, is replaced by Kari Wahlgren, and for some reason, a few characters from the film are missing, and those are Aunt May, Gwen and Captain George Stacy.

Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions is a video game based on the Marvel Comics superhero Spider-Man. Players control four different versions of Spider-Man, each originating from a different universe in the Marvel Comics multiverse. Previous Spider-Man voice actors Neil Patrick Harris, Christopher Daniel Barnes, Dan Gilvezan, and Josh Keaton each voice one of the four Spider-Men. The game revolves around an artifact known as the Tablet of Order and Chaos. When it is shattered into pieces during a fight between Spider-Man and Mysterio, it causes problems with multiple Marvel Universe realities. Madame Web calls on four versions of Spider-Man from four realities to assist her in bringing the realities back into balance: the Amazing Spider-Man, Spider-Man Noir, Spider-Man 2099, and Ultimate Spider-Man. Shattered Dimensions received fairly positive reviews from critics, with reported aggregate scores averaging 62% to 79% at GameRankings, and Metacritic reporting scores of 76 out of 100. Reviewers generally praised the idea of bringing four Marvel universes together, and lauded the voice acting and humor, though criticism was aimed at the story, choice of villains and the overall design of the cutscenes as well as technical difficulties.
