Suicidal Woman Tries to Sleep it Off
An unnamed 58-year-old woman in France threw herself in front of a train in an attempt to commit suicide. The train was moving through the station at Herrlisheim, near Strasbourg, at around 150 km per hour.
Finding just small blood stains at the station, police utilized helicopters to try to find the body. The search was called off after the woman was found at home in bed by her partner.
She suffered a broken arm and other injuries and had to be hospitalized. She also reportedly suffers from depression, and has attempted suicide before.
5-Month-Old Dies in Car While Mother Works
5-month-old Gannon Werking was found dead on Thursday after spending 7 1/2 hours in his mother's SUV unnoticed. With temperatures reaching up to 90F, the heat inside the car would have been between 130F and 140F when he was found in the evening.
Vero Beach police were notified around 5 p.m. when a man saw a woman screaming wildly in a parking lot. Police further stated that when help arrived it was already too late, saying that the baby was obviously deceased. An autopsy has been scheduled.
Stephanie Werking told police she arrived at work in her Grey Edge about 8 a.m. and discovered her son, Gannon Werking, at about 5 p.m. when she left work. Werking has not yet been charged for any crime.
Retired Soldier Kills Civilian
An investigation is underway about a retired soldier who entered a store on the Fort Lewis Army base and opened fire on a civilian woman. The man is reported to be a 59-year-old retired soldier; no names were released at this time.
Reports say that the woman was an employee at the store. No motive has been released at this time, nor is there any known relationship between the attacker and victim.
The man has been hospitalized with a gunshot wound to his head; he is in critical condition. The woman is reported to be dead. The report does not indicate when or where she was pronounced dead. The FBI has taken over the investigation.

Wolf is part of the Endeavor crew currently working on the space station. So far two of five space walks planned during the 11-day mission have been completed. One of the tasks is to change the solar panel batteries.
Regarding the sneezing problem, the veteran says he has had the problem on this trip and the best strategy is to "aim low, off the windscreen, because it's going to mess up your view and there's no way to clear it."

Glinnie Berry, known as the "cat lady" by everyone she knew died last Wednesday at home of natural causes. When the police found her body, they also found her 80 cat's wandering around inside and outside the woman's property.
Shockingly, while none of the cat's had been spayed, neutered, or vaccinated most in very good condition. Angela Grimes with Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation says that Glinnie spent a lot of money feeding them. A few have fractures or infections.
Most of the cats are still at the property, being caught and vaccinated, and they will be up for adoption soon Grimes said. With a mixture of breeds including Tuxedoes, Calicos, Egyptians,and Tabby's anyone looking to adopt could find what they like.
World Of Warcraft Movie to be Made
Sam Raimi, the director of several hits and cult-film such as: Spiderman, Evil Dead, and Drag Me To Hell(which he also wrote) has signed on to bring World of Warcraft to life. Sam signed the deal with Blizzard Entertainment and Legendary Pictures.
World of Warcraft, which developed off of Warcraft of 1994, debuted in 2004 and gained a Guiness world record of 11.5 million monthly subscribers.
Charles Roven is reported to be the producer of the film. Roven recently produced "The Dark Knight." No details have been released about the cast or possible release dates.
Abandoned Pandas Adopted By A Dog
China: After giving birth in Taiyuan Zoo, in front of spectators, the mother ignored her cubs, abandoning them.
In search of a replacement mother, the zoo found a dog which had recently gave birth. The dog now feeds as well raises the bear cubs, which have doubled in length since.
Unlike giant pandas, the much smaller red pandas look similar to raccoons, and are fewer than 2,500 worldwide.
Body Found In Machine At McDonalds Processing Plant
The body of a 40 year old woman was found in a machine at a McDonalds processing plant. The processing plant is located in Southern California and is a major supplier to McDonalds restaurants.
Detectives say her body was found early Tuesday at Golden State Foods which is located in a Los Angeles subarb. Her death was accidential according to investigators. The only detail is that she was an employee. No other details were given.
The company has centers around the nation. According to a website the company supplies McDonalds restaurants. They also developed the sauce for the Big Macs in the 1960's
