J'sar was born and raised in Newport News, Virginia. At the young age of 8 years old, he began writing and recording his lyrics on a basic tape recorder ...with his older sister. From two kids in recreation, he developed a passion for the art of music. He created a formula by using a tape recorder to record his albums. In 1998, J'sar graduated from the tape recorder. “I bought my first computer. I started using this program called „Cool Edit‟ and began to teach myself the ins and outs of multi-track recording”. In 2001, J'sar linked with DJ Silk and Producer Joe Traxx, where he had his first in-studio session. From there, J'sar began the journey of perfecting his craft and pursuing his dream of a career in music. His experiences on both sides of the tracks have provided J'sar with the potential to become a rising force in the entertainment industry. Known for keeping a pen behind his ear, the image of a leader becomes crystal clear.
