I've always loved story telling. When I was a kid I would round up all the neighborhood kids and play fantasy games with them. When I was a teen my goal was to go to college to study art and get a job working for Disney.

Instead I got married young and had 6 children right away. I began a cartoon series about my family and in the mid 80's was competing with M ...att Groening for a spot in a popular underground LA newspaper. He won and you all got the Simpsons - not the Locos.

When I was in my late 20's my husband became ill and couldn't work. I had to find a good paying job quick. That's when tattooing came into my life.

Despite loving the job I had, I still hung onto the idea of either writing or directing movies. However, between working full time and raising 6 kids I didn't have much time to pursue this dream.

Last year when the baby of our family finally moved out my husband took out a loan against his Harley and bought me the computer and Sony DVD camera I had been talking about, but thought I'd never afford.

At first I was pissed... didn't want to have another loan after we had just gotten out of debt. But then I decided to play around and see what I could do.

It has been slow going. I've had to learn a lot about the equipment and programs. I know I am still at phase one of the whole process but it has been a lot of fun.
