Clarinetist David Krakauer from the Klezmatics, DJ Socalled a young Canadian MC from Montreal and legendary trombone player Fred Wesley Jr. who has played with James Brown have formed Abraham Inc. - a hard funking band with a decidely klezmer flavor. Judging by this footage at their recent Paris show, the band gets audiences dancing.

It's interesting to note that ...Wesley not only was a road warrior with James Brown but also played with the likes of Bootsy Collins and Parliament-Funkadelic, as well as with the Count Basie Orchestra. DJ Socalled writes the beats and is one of three lead MCs in the group.
