Ras Nas, a.k.a Nasibu Mwanukuzi, is a poet-musician from Dar-es-salaam, Tanzania that blends reggae and african music with a dash of poetry. Ras Nas' music is original. Currently based in Oslo, Norway, Ras Nas is one of the African musicians spreading African music on the global arena.

2007 finds Ras Nas ready poised to release his follow up CD "Dar-es-Salaam". O ...n this CD, Ras Nas has collaborated with 24 musicians from nine different countries. "Dar-es-Salaam", containing nine songs with lyrics in both English and Kiswahili,is expected to hit the market in August. So stay tuned!
