Bikram’s Beginning Yoga is a series of 26 postures, and 2 breathing exercises taught in a 90 minute class designed for all levels. Each pose is a challenge based on one’s personal abilities. The postures are done in a safe environment of a heated room. The room is intentionally heated to warm your muscles and allow you to work deeper and safer. The heat also heals, helps prevent injuries and promotes sweating which flushes toxins from your body. By the end of class, each individual will have worked ever muscle, tendon, joint, ligament, internal organ and gland while systematically moving oxygenated blood to 100% of the body.
