This is a simple light fixture made using a modified Fuji circuit Joule Thief and a disposable plastic food container. It lights up an 18" tube pretty well and this is very easy to read by. It throws light 360 degrees around the room and works well. I was planning on using another Jeanna light circuit I made but I must have a short somewhere so I stuck in the Fuji. I will use the new circuit on another light project when I get it fixed. For more information go to Overunity.com in the many joule thief topics. Thanks for watching.
This is my earth battery and modified Fuji joule thief circuit lighting 400 leds. Please see my other videos for explanations on the circuits and for more information on the earth battery. Join us at Overunitydotcom in the joule thief, and earth battery topics. Thank you.
My earth battery and a 2.7 volt 650 Farad supercap running a one magnet no bearing Bedini motor. This is my replication of this motor that Jonnydavro designed and is still improving. (Thank you Jonny) Like Jonny, I am now using these diametrically magnetized neo cylinders with a small ball bearing on the bottom. (A single steel sphere) These are very powerful magnets. Thanks to Gadgetmall who supplies these large caps for a very reasonable price. You can find them here: check out his earth battery kits. For more information on these and other exciting experiments go to Overunity.com. Thank you, Bill
This is my earth battery-joule thief-supercaps lighting 200 leds. The video did not turn out so good. It looks foggy to me. It looked much better in real life but, oh well. I am trying to keep these videos short as they seem to take like an hour to upload to Youtube for some reason if I get over 2 minutes. check out my earlier videos for better explanations but this is the same set-up with the EB and 2 2.7 volt 10 F supercaps running to the modified Fuji Joule thief circuit. For more info go to Overunitydotcom in the joule thief topic area.
This is my earth battery running a 48" (40 watt) florescent tube. It is not at full brightness but it is lit and lit pretty well. It is much brighter than it appears on the camera. i am using my earth battery and running the output into two 2.3, 10 Farad supercaps in parallel with my modified Fuji joule thief circuit. The earth battery does not put out enough mA's to run the Fuji circuit by itself. The supercaps allow it to power the Fuji joule thief. When I get a much larger cap, I believe I can run this as long as I want to. I can charge the supercap with the earth battery by day, and run off it and the earth battery at night. For more information go to Overunitydotcom in the joule thief topic. Thanks.
This is a 15 watt 18 inch long tube illuminated by my modified Fuji Joule Thief circuit powered by my earth battery. The light was better than I expected. I am also using two 2.3 volt 10 Farad supercaps in parallel with the Joule Thief Fuji circuit. For more info go to Overunitydotcom in our Joule Thief topic. Thank you for watching. Bill
This is my earth battery illuminating 100 leds! I am using 2 supercaps (2.3 volt, 10 Farad each) in parallel with the earth battery to my modified Fuji Joule Thief circuit. This is connected to a string of 100 white leds Christmas lights which light up very well. I want to thank Jeanna over on the Joule Thief topic at Overunityodtcom for reminding me of what I did 2 years ago with a supercap and my first earth battery set-up. I had not remembered this and tried several times to get the Fuji JT circuit to fire but it would not. So, I listened to Jeanna and used the supercaps in parallel with the E.B. power source. (Earth Battery) I kept this short because I could not wait to process the video and upload it so my friends at Overunitydotcom could see it. In the near future, I will do longevity tests and also see if I can light some fluorescent tubes as well. I am very excited by this. If you want more details on how I have the E.B. hooked up, watch my earlier videos where I explain all of that. for more information, go to the Joule Thief topic at overunitydotcom. Thank you. Bill
A quick video to show one of my straight spinning very stable egg magnets sent to me from overseas by a good friend of mine. This is nothing more than a coil of plastic tubing filled with water. I added a 265,000 MCD LED on each end of the tube. I am powering this with one of my Joule thief toroid circuits. Although it does light well on a single AA battery, I decided just to see what would happen if I used 3 AAA batteries instead. I can add a secondary winding to the toroid and get the same results of light output. This was just a little faster to try. For more information, see the joule thief topic on overunitydotcom. Thanks. Bill
100 LEDs powered by a single supercap. (2.3 volt, 10F) I charged the supercap with an AA battery for a few seconds. The cap is powering my modified Fuji board to run the 100 leds. No batteries needed.
