Sub Focus vs. 2 Pac, B.I.G., Big L "Rock It/Deadly Combination"
For all you tuktuk (rickshaw) fans out there! :) Filmed in India (Bangalore area), January 2008.
Videography and title music by Yeltzin. Enjoy!
A short movie about the making of "Ancient Treasure", a new artwork collection available at www.alien-canvas****.
Unfortunately only 12 hours - only a few cars, no spectators, a real shame... This is not how it should be.

Step 1: record the actual shot. If you don't have a gun that actually fires something, you can use an airsoft gun.
Step 2: you need an explosion fx to make it look real. You can do it using 3dsmax for example. A 5 frame long explosion is just what you need. This one was created using 2 fire effects (a yellow fireball with a long white flame in the middle) and an omni light which kinda flashes (exposure goes up to 3x then back to normal) for 4 frames right when the explosion happens.
Step 3: find the perfect shot sound. I made this one mixing three sounds (shotgun, .45 Colt, simple bomb explosion).
Step 4: the "victim" is outside the picture, so to make him appear on the film, we need his crying sounds. You can do it yourself easily. Remember to pan this voice to the right direction.
Step 5: the sound of the falling body is easy to produce, I used a door shutting sound this time.
Step 6: since the original sound is long gone, you have to create some ambience. Record something that goes with the scene (city sounds with high frequencies cut, because we are indoor).
Step 7: the idea of using a blood splatter on the wall just came to me when I finished the film. Used a simple bitmap found on the web. A more sophisticated idea is some blood drips on the camera lens (out of focus), maybe v2.0 will have that too.
That's it, this can be done in less than 2 hours. Have fun creating your own realistic gunshots!
Nice chasing action with some contact during a training session (race07**** wtcc championship) in Curitiba, Brazil.

I was just browsing the open servers the other night and found this event using the '87 cars. The race was surprisingly good and fair, and I thought why not share the best moments. I'm driving the No. 5 BMW (finished 4th and 3rd in the two races, 3rd overall) Have fun!
That's what happens if you brake too late in a high speed corner at Le Mans. The speedometer shows exactly 200 km/h when the Porsche hits the wall (the error was made at 260). You can see the outcome in slow motion and from the onboard cam too (with sound). The physics engine works pretty well, the left door is ripped off immediately and the roof gets damaged on the right spot when the car hits the ground rolling over. The onboard crash sounds are just unbelievable!
Driving a 2005 Corvette C6 chasing two Panoz Esperante GT coupes in rFactor (Lienz 24h track). It was my first time on the track so I decided to just chase them as long as I can, not knowing what's behind the next corner. With a little practice overtaking becomes quite easy, the Vette is just so much more powerful in the straights.
Four camera views used in this one!
How to beat two racing trucks with a gokart in one lap and how to get smashed by both of them in the next one.
Track: Toban Raceway Park Short
Clearly the small vehicle is great in corners while the big guys rock the straights. On this track the situation is pretty well balanced. I was able to catch the trucks in the last sector where there are no straights.
I started the second lap in 2nd position (one of the trucks went off the track after I passed it), and as I tried to pass I ran out of space then got hit by the truck. Unfortunately the second truck hit me as well, and this time it was fatal (killed the kart and would have killed the driver as well).
Fun moments, multiple camera views, enjoy!
A short film about travelling in Southern India (Bangalore, Puttaparthi, Mysore). The whole material was shot with a Canon HV-20 (equipped with a Sony 0.6x wide conversion lens in some cases).
Holy cows on dirty streets, beggars and exciting autorickshaw rides in slow motion with a relaxing meditational song by Erika Kertesz (www.erikakertesz****).
