Hey Everyone,
At the risk of allowing ethnocentrism to rule - I present you with the sights, sounds and feel of Grenada, West Indies. Grenada - a tiny dot on the world map. Grenada is part of a tri-island state which also includes Carriacou and Petit Martinique. We are located in the Eastern Caribbean close to Barbados, Trinidad and Venezuela. We speak English but lo ...cally our broken version of the English Language can be heard. A few people can still speak the broken French called Patois - mostly the older heads.
We are known as one of the largest producers of nutmeg which you can find at the Starbucks coffee shop and other places. We also produce lots of cocoa, are involved in horticulture, have a large tourism industry with many day visitors in the cruise ship in-season and celebrate carnival in a big way every August.
Grenadians are hard-working, creative, ambitious, fun-loving and helpful people. We aspire to achieve and advance while working together as one people.
