Saturday 09-06-08 - 1976 Cessna 172M Skyhawk II circling down out of altitude just SE of Cecil Field for an approch to rwy 25 KHEG.
A banner-towing plane crash-landed just off Surfside beach, California on the fourth of July 2008. The single-engine Cessna 150 J lost power before it ditched about 100 feet off the beach adjacent to the gated community. The pilot suffered only minor injuries.
