Here we go over Rhino CAD's zooming features. There are a number of different ways to zoom in and out of Rhino 3d. I prefer the mouse wheel. It is the quickest and easiest way to zoom in and out on objects in RhinoCAD. We also go over Zoom Extents and a Marque Zoom. Combining the different zooming types within RhinoCAD helps us move between viewports quickly and easily.
Rhino 3D Viewports Viewports in Rhino 3D are a very important part of designing. Being able to view a model from different perspectives is a a critical part of RhinoCAD. The views are similar to drafting. Top, Front, Right and perspective are the default views in Rhino3D. You can also change the information each viewport gives you. You can choose wire frame, ghosted, rendered, etc. This let you customize the Rhino Interface to your own specific needs.
We go over Rhino 3D Toolbars in this tutorial video. There are a number of different ways to access the tool bars. You can also create tool bar flyouts, resize toolbars, and dock toolbars. Rhino CAD Toolbars are a very flexible way to work. I like to undock a number of toolbars that I will be using for a project. I think keep these tool bars within reach while working. It really speeds things up having Rhino's tools close at hand.
