Short-e, a New Yorker, made the same decision his father made years earlier, he would venture away from his home on a quest for grander opportunities. In 1996, Short-e headed to Tampa, FL, where he quickly became an elite force in the Nightlife and TV scene. While in Tampa Short-e launched his "Hot4Ever" Enterprises company which consists of a TV Show, Recor ...d Label, Marketing division and soon to be clothing Line. His sexy unique style drew an elite local following which lead him to weekly residency's at Tampa's hottest spots such as: Rain Lounge, Club Skye, Hard Rock Hotel & Casino and Headliners just to name a few. Celebrities and Professional Athletes were often spotted at his events because of the feel good vibe and atmosphere Short-e was able to create through his music and hosting skills.

In 2004, Short-e launched his very own TV Show, "The Short-e Show" which aired on UPN44 and received high ratings due to his entertaining content which mainly consisted of artist interviews and exclusive behind the scenes footage from the red carpet to the hottest concerts and events. After dominating most of the Tampa market, Short-e made his move back to the New York City area, where he was immediately hired as a special guest DJ by some of the cities biggest and best promoters and clubs. He was named Saturday Night monthly resident at the world famous Spotlight Live in Times Square and has made guest appearances at Home/Guesthouse, Lotus, Hawaiian Tropics, The Grand, Manor & more.

Soon after, he was hired by Power 105.1FM's Marketing and Promotions department, where he hosted various sponsored events and produced & edited interview videos for Kanye West, 50 Cent, Mary J. Blige, Keyshia Cole, Swizz Beats, Sean Kingston, Trey Songs, Mya and more. He also founded and managed the Power 105 YouTube page which has generated thousands of video views and lead additional traffic to the stations official website. Furthermore, Short-e also humbly accepted an internship role with personal favorite Bad Boy Records, where his efforts were quickly noticed and praised by President Harve Pier and his promotions staff. While interning at Bad Boy, Short-e gained the knowledge and insight on how a major label operates and markets itself and its artists on a day to day basis.

In the last 10 years Short-e has performed & promoted events for numerous HOT Spots from New York to Miami. With continued success nightlife and music industries, doors to other opportunities quickly opened. He gained national exposure when T-Mobile, the cell phone giant, chose him to star in a national video campaign which highlights "A Day In The Life Of Short-e" using his Sidekick cell phone.

Short-e has further expanded his music outreach when he founded Hot4Eva' Records and signed a handful of artists to his independent label. He is in the process of producing an album for his lead artist Verbal Science, which is scheduled to be released nationally sometime in 2009. Short-e also produced and directed the music video for the first single off the album "Whatchu Ridin' On?", which gained a tremendous buzz from the masses and local media when viewers noticed the quality and star cameo appearances which included T-Pain, Paul Wall, Mike Jones, Tony Yayo, Jacob the Jeweler and some NFL stars. In 2007, the music video nearly landed Short-e and his artist a record deal with Sony/BMG Records when the video advanced to the FINAL ROUND in a national online music video contest which featured celebrity judges & was sponsored by Clear Channel. Short-e & Verbal Science took home a remarkable 2nd place out 700+ national contestants! Local TV and press covered the contest every step of the way which also helped to expose their movement to the masses.

On another note, when it comes to the community and youth, Short-e has always known to be involved someway and somehow. He enjoys donating his time and talents to help non-profit organizations such as Everyone's Youth United, which helps inner city youth and those in need. Short-e has served on the steering committee and is called upon annualy to judge the highly acclaimed Bay Area Idol showcase.

By utilizing his skills, resources, talents and experience, Short-e will surely remain creative and productive for years to come. Short-e’s style and sound are often imitated but never duplicated...
