I have been marketing online since May of 2008 and it has proven to be a HUGE learning game. I will also go ahead and speak my mind on the term "network marketing".

Plain and simple, if you do not associate yourself with some sort of TEAM, you are not go ...ing to make it online. Trying to go at this alone is a sure way to burn out, lose your money, and give up just as fast as you started.

Involve yourself with other individuals like yourself, those interested in network marketing or working from home. I can't tell you how much I've learned from incredible marketers I've met online.

This field is definitely about relationship building. This is where 97% of marketers fall - they do not know how to establish a relationship. This is not limited to rookie marketers - there are many professional marketers out there just as ignorant with their strategies. Learn to build relationships before anything else.

People like to buy but they don't like to be sold. That's a marketing tip that I've engraved into my memory. Even if you think you have the ULTIMATE business, nobody cares. Seriously. People join PEOPLE, not businesses. If someone can relate to you, they are more likely to trust you, thus establishing a relationship, and ultimately becoming business partners.
