KEMP is a duo consisting of KZZ and EMP; two friends that happened to start working for the same company in Stockholm.

KZZ, who is one of the founders of the Swahili hip-hop group X Plastaz (www.myspace.com/xplastaz), began working on his solo project in early 2008. He soon realized he wanted to work with another person and asked EMP if he wanted to be involved. On ...e cold January evening over some beers in a Stockholm bar, KEMP was formed.

The project is currently running alongside their fulltime jobs, making their spare days few and far between. That is why KZZ and EMP are living by their motto of Work now play later - Simple as that.
