Hi my name is Tane, and I am 25 years old and have an 9 month old baby boy and a loving husband. Ooooh Yeah! and a gorgeous dog named Red.

Now on with my story.

I was born in NSW Australia, little country t ...own, named Tamworth, which is now one of the most famous places in Australia because of the country music festival.

My family then moved around a fair bit and we eventually ended up in the far north Queensland region of Atherton Tablelands. This area is most recognized for The Great Barrier Reef and The Gillies Range.

Then we moved to Sydney and finished High School there. Unfortunately, while in Sydney, I got caught up with the wrong crowd and ended up in some real bad situations. Drug addicted and really unhappy with my self, I was really unsure of whom I was or where I was heading in life. Just knew I wanted to fit in somewhere.

I moved to Brisbane but things were not any better there. When I turned 20yrs I finally realized that I wasn’t going to achieve anything in life staying in the situation I was in… so I got out with the help of some really good friends.

A few years later I met my future husband and everything started to look up and I started to finally see who I was inside and accept myself. We got married in an outdoor chapel near a lake and then in early 2007 I gave birth to my son, Logan.

Having my son created a really fuzzy feeling inside and, for the first time in my life, I felt like I belonged. I also realized that this was one of the things missing from my life, someone as well as my husband to take care of. Life for me has never been so plentiful and I love my husband and my son very, very much.

Who would have thought… going from drug-addicted loony bin to loving wife and mother. It’s been a tough road but marriage and motherhood is the best choice I have ever made and has totally enriched my life.
