On Thursday, November 6th, 2008, bloggers, writers, and human rights activists around the world staged rallies to protest the continued imprisonment of Egyptian blogger Abdel Kareem Nabil Suleiman, arrested two years ago for criticizing the excesses of Egypt’s top religious authorities.
