this video is of an old fashioned taffy machine made and purchased by a taffy shop on broadway at the beach in myrtle beach south carolina (wish i could remember the name to give due credit for the footage). The machine was made and purchased around 1919 and is still fully functional today. the man in the store declined to add taffy to the machine so i could show the whole process but this is what it looks like once its going.
