Where are you better off in a head-on crash? A modern-day 5* Euro NCAP car, or an old banger that's built like a tank?

PLEASE READ THIS FIRST BY PRESSING "More info"! BG music: Jacky Cheung, Coffee Update: Since I'm getting so much flak for this video, I guess I should explain the premise better. What loveyoutube77 basically said in his video is China will NEVER be able to make safe cars. The point of my video is that given time, China will be able to do it. I'm not at all opposed at the numerous videos that compare 5 star rated cars to 0 star rated Chinese cars (a popular format here on youtube). 3 stars is barely acceptable & 0 stars that most Chinese cars are getting is unacceptable. BUT you have to understand that there are barely any Chinese vehicle in the foreign market, and probably even less crash tested ones, only around 5 if my count is correct; China doesn't even crash test cars. So undoubtedly Chinese cars aren't designed for crash safety at all. Given time in the foreign market, Chinese cars can improve. The Japanese & Korean cars in this video just shows even 5 years ago there were still unsafe Japanese & Korean cars; China is far behind those two countries so it will take some time to catch up. Remember, people laughed when Japanese & Korean cars were introduced in the US, now more people are laughing at American cars. As always feel free to comment and rate. This is a response to loveutube77's video. *******www.youtube****/watch?v=GZ3oyo-irJ4 I had to post this link because loveutube77 removed my video from his response list, it figures. Update: Kicked out again from the response list. Note that this video is only 5:45 minutes, somehow youtube made it 7:07, don't waste your time; there's nothing after I say "Thanks for watching!" This guy says that he doesn't mean to be racist. Whatever, but I don't see how he has any good intentions. His screenname on autoblog is "I_Hate_China"! How the heck can he not be biased? Link to his profile: *******www.autoblog****/profile/42574/ Link to one of his posts; basically exactly the same as his video's discription: *******www.autoblog****/2007/06/22/brilliance-bs6s-adac-crash-test-is-anything-but/6 This video shows first how China's BS6 got 3/5 stars after revisions. It also shows many Japanese/Korean cars which also got horrible crash test ratings. (edited b/c too long, see above update) Sources: Brilliance BS6: 0/5 stars then 3/5 stars *******www.youtube****/watch?v=F06LjugtIUo *******www.youtube****/watch?v=bPw26Nfze_Q struck star = unacceptably high risk of life threatening injury all stars out of 5. 2008 Nissan Navara, Euro-NCAP 1 star (struck star) *******www.euroncap****/tests/nissan_navara/317.aspx To be fair Navara had a retest and revision like the BS6 & got 3 stars *******www.euroncap****/tests/nissan_navara_2008_2/319.aspx 2008 Isuzu D-MAX/Rodeo, Euro-NCAP 2 stars (struck star) ADAC (same test Landwind and BS6 went through) 1 star *******www.euroncap****/tests/isuzu_dmax_rodeo/316.aspx *******www.adac.de/Tests/Crash_Tests/Automodelle/isuzu_d_max_ab2008.asp 2006-2009 Daewoo Gentra X (Kalos written on video is wrong) /Chevrolet Aveo, Euro-NCAP 2 stars (struck star) *******www.euroncap****/tests/chevrolet_aveo_2006/250.aspx 2003-2005 Kia Carnival/Sedona, Euro-NCAP 2 stars *******www.euroncap****/tests/kia_carnival_sedona_2003/167.aspx As per United's request, I am including a link to the 2006-2008 Kia Carnival/Sedona which got 4 stars. I didn't include this before because it was a different generation from the 2003-2005 model. I felt any car after 2005 was fair game since the Landwind was a 2005 model. *******www.euroncap****/tests/kia_carnival_sedona_2006/269.aspx Note the car in the video is the 03-05 model, so this link to the 06-08 model is not really a source. Thanks for the feedback!
