In theaters June 6th. Oscar® nominee Tom Cruise (the "Mission: Impossible" films, "Collateral," "Jerry Maguire") and Emily Blunt ("The Devil Wears Prada," "The Adjustment Bureau") star in Warner Bros. Pictures' and Village Roadshow Pictures' sci-fi thriller "Edge of Tomorrow," under the direction of Doug Liman ("The Bourne Identity," "Mr. & Mrs. Smith"). The epic action of "Edge of Tomorrow" unfolds in a near future in which an alien race has hit the Earth in an unrelenting assault, unbeatable by any military unit in the world. Lt. Col. Bill Cage (Cruise) is an officer who has never seen a day of combat when he is unceremoniously dropped into what amounts to a suicide mission. Killed within minutes, Cage now finds himself inexplicably thrown into a time loop—forcing him to live out the same brutal combat over and over, fighting and dying again...and again. But with each battle, Cage becomes able to engage the adversaries with increasing skill, alongside Special Forces warrior Rita Vrataski (Blunt). And, as Cage and Rita take the fight to the aliens, each repeated encounter gets them one step closer to defeating the enemy.

Robert Ludlum's The Bourne Conspiracy review. Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of The Bourne Conspiracy for the Xbox 360. Released in 2008, this game was developed by Sierra and High Moon, and it was published by Sierra. It's an expanded take on The Bourne Identity, and while the game does have some real technical problems, it also uses ideas that feel very close to the original movie. In addition, the hand to hand combat mechanics are brilliant, although they are overused. This CGRundertow review features gameplay and commentary from CGR's Gabe.

I had heard OF Moby throughout my teens but had not ever heard any of his music. All that I knew was that Eminem had poked fun at Moby [along with a sea of other singers, rappers and performing artists] in the song "Without Me" and I was hearing something about some video where a lady licks Moby's bald head [which as of this writing--I am still yet to see or even know the name of the song video. ^^;] When I heard "Extreme Ways" as the closing theme during the end of the fabulous film "The Bourne Identity" -- I scrambled through the credits in order to find the name of the performing artist and whom I had not heard before [or thought I had heard of] and sure enough there was the name: "Moby." "So that's Moby huh?" I questioned myself aloud. "Sounds good!" I exclaimed before viewing the behind the scenes footage and extras on the Bourne Identity rental DVD. Later I was informed by my elder brother that there was a sequel to "The Bourne Identity" called "The Bourne Supremacy." Honestly, the film I completely desired to see to see what would happen next and because the original movie I had thought so very much of. However--part of me also wanted to know if Moby also did the closing song for "The Bourne Supremacy" as well and if it would sound as good as "Extreme Ways!" =D Surely enough--it WAS "Extreme Ways" and the film was indeed touching, riveting, and Soul Strengthening! Ironically, about half a year after learning of "The Bourne Supremacy" -- "The Bourne Ultimatum" (2007) was due for release in theatres. It was the first of the "Bourne Identity" series I had seen in-cinema. =) The closing theme "Extreme Ways" was well welcomed although different from the one I had originally learned of Moby in-listening to--but it did indeed fit the "Big Screen" feel which was a first for me with "The Bourne Identity" now trilogy! As of this writing, it appears a FOURTH film is due for release July 2012! I'm SO watching it! XD [JUST learned about it like 5 minutes ago while checking "Bourne" year releases!=] EXTREME Steps! XD Other players of this stepchart resounded similar compliments, and the 100 Beats Per Minute stepchart which certainly could have been a "Chorographical Stepchart FLOP" was well-received and downloaded well into the thousands! =D I was REALLY proud and still am of my stepchart for the SUPREME awesome song to the SUPREMACY of The BOURNE IDENTITY of the SUPREME artist Moby and SUPREME "Bourne Film" Series! [Crusin' at 100 BPM... ^_^] ********** In mid-2005 when I first put this stepchart together one of my friends on Bemanistyle at the time [RubberDuckyRZ] was swift to personally compliment the work on the stepchart and explained how after playing this stepchart--he was inspired to go on a "Moby Song Collection Spree" much thanks to how well this stepchart was put together! =D That felt good! [which also has a book and television series which I have at the time of this writing NOT yet seen =3 But likely will! =D] Enjoy! There recently was a film plagiarism fiasco in Vietnam that involved a Vietnamese American from Orange County, California ripping off a Hollywood film to fool his fellow Vietnamese people that he's a Hollywood Hitchcock director and script writer. The plagiarist who pulled the scam, named Victor Vu, knew Vietnam had a Trade Embargo imposed by the United States until 1994 so he reckoned no one in Vietnam could have seen any Hollywood movie during the embargo. He picked a 20 year old Hollywood movie from 1991, Wolfgang Petersen's Hitchcock thriller Shattered, copied it shot by shot, renamed it Inferno (Giao lo dinh menh in Vietnamese) and released it in Vietnam as his masterpiece. Vu tooted his horn that he wrote this Hitchcock thriller while just a student and claimed he was the Hollywood Hitchcock director, the new breath of life for Vietnamese films, the man who changes the image of Vietnamese Cinema. Vu suckered Vietnamese people who trusted him when he declared with Inferno he was bringing his Hollywood expertise to Vietnam, instead he brought shot by shot plagiarism to Vietnam while getting rich by illegally duplicating and profiting from other people's work. But how lowly did Vu think of his fellow Vietnamese? Did he think they still live in caves? How did he think he was going to get away with this scam indefinitely? In this age of Facebook his sneaky scam was busted, that's right, on Facebook. These internet videos show Vu's Inferno was virtually a frame by frame copy of Shattered and for music he lifted John Powell's score from The Bourne Identity. After being caught red handed Vu retorted publicly that "all similarities to Shattered are just a coincidence", "Similarities like these are unavoidable for Hollywood Hitchcock directors like me and Wolfgang Petersen but it's too hard for Vietnamese people to be capable of understanding it". Unbelievable how lowly Vu think of his fellow Vietnamese. Vu's hogwash riled the Vietnamese public who demanded their cinema officials to sort it out, it was a whopping ruckus in 2010 and 2011 in Vietnam. Vietnamese cinema officials took up the case making Vu Vietnam's first film plagiarism case. Officials watched both Inferno and Shattered to compare and unanimously found Vu guilty of plagiarism. Victor Vu taking advantage of the American embargo on Vietnam to scam his fellow Vietnamese people and profit from it is completely unethical, unprofessional, not to mention it's criminal copyright infringement. *******www.thanhniennews****/2010/Pages/20101018175841.aspx *******www.thanhniennews****/2010/Pages/20101112133316.aspx *******www.thanhniennews****/2010/Pages/20110304165902.aspx *******english.vietnamnet.vn/en/lastest-news/5583/-inferno--removed-from-golden-kite-award-s-nomination.html *******english.cinet.vn/DefaultArticleDetail.aspx?zoneid=10&newsid=16791 *******tuoitrenews.vn/cmlink/tuoitrenews/lifestyle/elevating-no-it-s-lifted-1.20101 There is very extensive news on this fiasco in Vietnamese language.
