Tetsuya Mizuguchi's Child of Eden is a cumulative project that rolls up nearly everything the designer has done in the past into one new project. Building on his original musical Dreamcast shooter, Rez, Child of Eden's psychedelic explosion of audio/visuals casts a spell on players much in the way a rave might do -- which is exactly the point. Due on Microsoft's Kinect and Sony's Move systems in June 2011, Mizuguchi's new high-res musical shooter/rave game is more vibrant and essential than ever before.
