Power Rangers Samurai is the eighteenth season of the American children's television series Power Rangers. With Saban Brands buying back the franchise, the show is produced by SCG Power Rangers and began airing on Nickelodeon and Nicktoons on February 7, 2011. As with all Power Rangers programs, Power Rangers Samurai is based on one of the entries of the Super Sentai Series; in the case of Samurai, the source series is Samurai Sentai Shinkenger. Saban Brands have said the show will have a "brighter tone and gets an infusion of fun and comedy that wasn't present in seasons 16 and 17."
Power Rangers Samurai is the first Power Rangers season to be shot and broadcast in HD and to be airing on Nickelodeon.
Samurai is split into two 20-episode seasons; the second set of 20 episodes began on February 18, 2012  and is called Power Rangers Super Samurai, which is being called a new season. Super Samurai is considered the nineteenth season.
By 2012, the show had an average of 2 million viewers on Nickelodeon. The highest rated episode was the May 15, 2011 broadcast of "The Blue and the Gold", with 3.7 million viewers.

In all, 20 of Cirque du Soleil's most memorable musical moments originally created by René Dupéré, Benoît Jutras and Violaine Corradi have been re-mixed by Quebec producer, composer and arranger Francis Collard. THE STAGE AND PROJECTIONS
This unique, large-scale event may be the most massive technical production ever created to tour arenas.
540 feet of projections dominate the scene - the equivalent in width of almost four IMAX screens - setting the stage for a colossal multimedia presentation. Images projected range from prerecorded visuals to manipulated live feeds that create interactions between the show and the audience.
DELIRIUM showcases 36 talented and multidisciplinary artists which include 6 musicians, 6 singers, 12 dancers, 9 acrobats and 3 main characters.
To heighten the musical experience, DELIRIUM is infused with acrobatic dances as well as classic Cirque du Soleil feats including aerial, acrosport and hand balancing acts.
Amongst the featured musicians are percussionist brothers El Hadji Fall Diouf and Pape Abdou Karim Diouf of Senegal; keyboardist and band leader Ric'key Pageot; Italian-born percussionist Raffaele Artiglieri; Brazilian Italo-Cuban singer Dessy Di Lauro; Amanda Stott; Chad Oliver and Jennifer Hamady.
Kajal Sonali was born on the 16 th of August 1985 in Benares, Northindia. Her father Charly Wintermeyer has been going there since 1978 to study Indian classical music. From early childhood she showed keen interest in dance and music. Her father recognizing the talent of his 6 year old daughter. He invited the famous tablaplayer and dancer Bholanath Mishra to his house who started teaching Kajal the art of Kathak.
At the age of 7 she gave her first public performance at Chet Singh palace, Benares. The audience was deeply moved. Two years of guidance under Dr. Ranjena Srivastava, Professor for dance at Benares Hindu University followed. Since her eleventh year she had regular lessons with Pandit Om Prakash Mishra, the nephew of the worldfamous Pandit Birju Mharaj, who infuses her with the secrets of Lucknow Gharana (Gharana=family–tradition).

As the official on-field cap of Major League Baseball MLB, New Era Cap Company hired Spike DDB, a minority-owned, full service advertising agency founded by world renowned film director Spike Lee and DDB Worldwide, to produce and direct its latest television commercials, in support of the launch of its new Authentic Collection on field cap.
The concept of the commercial is familiar and funny. Filmed outside the New Era flagship store on 4th Street in New York City, customers are camped out as if theyre waiting to buy the hottest new product on the market. Mixed in the group of customers are actual MLB players waiting to get their new caps for the season. The players include Jose Reyes of the New York Mets; Robinson Cano of the New York Yankees; Justin Morneau and Johan Santana of the Minnesota Twins; David Eckstein of the St. Louis Cardinals; Justin Verlander of the Detroit Tigers; and Jon Paplelbon of the Boston Red Sox.
When deciding which agency to use, it was pivotal that the end result was one that best represented New Era, Major League Baseball and the product, Gerry Matos, Sr. Vice President of Marketing. Spike DDB came to the table with the best concept and definitely the most passion.
Our goal was to touch the heart of New Eras true fans, to recognize a shared passion for the Authentic Collection by giving fans something trademark Spike fearless ideas served up with authenticity and humor. We cant wait to partner with New Era again, said Spike Lee.
The agency shot two commercials for the product launch. A :15 and :30 second spot, called The Line, which features the group of MLB players waiting outside the store for their caps; the other :15 and :30 second spot, dubbed Game Delay, focuses the spotlight on Cardinals player and World Series MVP, David Eckstein. Both commercials begin airing on ESPN, Fox Sports and regional sports networks on March 12th.

The relationship between New Era and Spike Lee dates back more than 10 years. This is the second time Lee has directed and produced a commercial for New Era. The first time was in 1998 with New Eras Proud to Play branding campaign.

The new batting practice and on field caps are infused with new fabric containing vapor and moisture management features making them feel and perform better on the field of play.
