*******www.etrailer****/tv-review-dewalt-toolbox-DIGS70B.aspx Videos are provided as a guide only. Refer to manufacturer installation instructions and specs for complete information. Today we are going to be reviewing the DeWalt industrial truck bed toolbox part number DIGS70B. This industrial strength toolbox is the top of the line for the heavy duty contractor out there. This toolbox features two J fasteners. One for each side of the vehicle. This is what is going to be holding the toolbox to the truck bed. You are simply going to need to drill a hole on the inside of your toolbox. Slide your J hook in through there and that will fasten on the underside of the lip of the truck bed rail. 00:24 The one piece base is constructed of heavy duty aluminum as well to help prevent sagging, leakage, and denting. This toolbox is 70 inches long by 19-1/ 4 inches wide and 15 inches tall which equals 10. 6 cubic feet of space. The cross over style of the toolbox allows it to sit cleanly over the rails of the pickup bed. The lid of the toolbox features a patented foam filled lid which helps offer increased stability and strength. It also features a full panel hinge at the rear consisting of solid core construction which helps inxure secure lid closure. The lid also features two heavy duty 45 pound gas struts which helps open the lid to a full 90 degrees. This toolbox also features over size push button latches to allow easy single handed access on either side of the vehicle. These latches are also lockable. 01:09 Now lets take a closer in depth look at the inside of the toolbox and show you its features. Looking at the inside of the toolbox the first thing that I want to make notice of is this particular toolbox has a full tough coat lining. Not only on the back side of the lid but fully inside of the toolbox as well. This is similar to the spray in bed liner that you see in pickup beds. It helps to reduce the damage to the interior of the toolbox and increases durability. Looking at the inside of the inside of the toolbox itself you will notice that we have got compartments on each side that are great for holding your spare tools or anything that you may be wanting to carry in here. At the middle we have got an adjustable plastic tray which slides the full length of the inside of the toolbox. So that you can not see, but what is built in behind the front railing is that there is a full length connecting rod that is connecting both push buttons on each side of the toolbox. What that does is allows you to just be able to open the toolbox by just simply pressing one of the buttons on either side of the vehicle. One of the nicer features of this toolbox is that it does have a drain plug built in to the side in case for some reason you do get some fluid or possible moisture build up inside of the toolbox. Included with this toolbox are two pieces of weather stripping which are going to be mounted to the underside of the lip of the toolbox. That is going to set on the rail of the truck bed and that is going to help keep from marring up the truck rail on the vehicle. With that, that will conclude the review of the DeWalt industrial truck bed toolbox part number DIGS70B.

BY SAMUEL JOSEPH You're watching multisource tech video news analysis from Newsy. Fast as lightning -- that’s what CNET is calling the new Thunderbolt port for the latest line of Macbook Pro laptops. Dan Ackerman: “That is the Thunderbolt Port, and that is the final brand name of Intel’s Light Peak technology. It’s a new, super fast type of connection made for pretty much anything. Storage, peripherals even displays...” That all sounds nice, but what is this really designed for? The Times of India reports... “The vision for Thunderbolt technology is to move media faster, simplify connections between devices, and foster new and exciting ways to build and use PCs. ...Thunderbolt technology is designed to meet the demands of serious HD media creators.” Right now, only Macbook Pros will be able to utilize Thunderbolt. Intel and Apple struck an agreement to bring the technology to the market. But is it a shot at the USB port? ZDNet says, not quite. “...Intel said more than once that it saw Thunderbolt as ‘complementary’ to USB, not a replacement.... ‘Thunderbolt is targeted at applications that can't be supported very well using existing connections.’ ...So Thunderbolt is not the new USB, it's the new Firewire.” Except supposedly much faster. Intel claims the Thunderbolt port is up to twelve times faster than a Firewire connection. But a writer for Financial Times Techhub says Intel and Apple are limiting their users by ignoring another new port already on the market. “USB 3.0 ports seem set to be introduced as standard this year on many laptops and PCs, which makes it a little odd that the new line-up of MacBook Pros announced on Thursday... come equipped with only USB 2.0 ones, when Mac users for example could find plenty of external hard drives that will support USB 3.0’s higher transfer speeds.” And CNN says newsy****Intel’s exclusive partnership with Apple will have another consequence for consumers -- mainly the MacBook Pro’s pricetag. “...Those high-end computers are pricey, ranging from $1,200 to $2,500.” Silicon Valley Insider says tech companies may be slow to adopt Thunderbolt, but some manufacturers have already indicated they intend to create new compatible hardware. Iyaz Akhtar stopped by the LG booth to track down one of the hottest TVs at CES this year, the LG OLED TV. At 15 inches, this is the largest commercially available OLED television in the world. The panel is an incredible 3mm thin, while the entire splash-resistant TV weighs just ounces. LG plans to release the OLED TV this year (although there are reports that the unit has been spotted in Korean stores already) at a cheaper price than Sony's 11-inch model. Of course, we use the term "cheaper" loosely, as the Sony TV is around $2500 retail. Distributed by Tubemogul.
