Sound travels at about 760 miles per hour, or 340 meters per second and about 661 knots on an average day at sea level. And sometimes, you can almost see it. Going close to that speed through air can cause some unusual visual effects. This compiled footage includes F-14s, standard and Blue Angels F-18s, plus the SR-71 and an Atlas Rocket launch. We already made a top 5 banned or censored games last year. But there were so many gruesome games that didn't make that list that we decided to make another one. Get ready for the top 5 Banned or censored games volume 2! 5. Saint's Row IV - Deep Silver Saints Row 4 was denied classification in Australia due to the portrayal of drug use and an in-game alien anal probe weapon. Developer Volition removed both things from the Australian version of game to obtain a 15 plus rating. GTA 5 weirdly enough got an Australian rating on the first try despite being full of references to drugs, sex and violence. Guess the Aussies just don't like Saint's Row. 4. Silent Hill: Homecoming - Atari Silent Hill: Homecoming couldn't get a rating in Australia and Germany effectively banning it in both countries. The objectionable content includes a scene in which various body parts are being drilled into ... as well as the many gruesome ways in which the player could die. In the end German an Australian gamers did get their hands on the game but only after publisher Atari censored most of the controversial content. 3. Soldier of Fortune - Activision Soldier of Fortune was banned in Germany and Australia thanks to the brutal depiction of firearms dismembering the human body. In British Columbia the violence was deemed unsuitable for anyone under 18. In a controversial decision the game was rated as a pornographic movie in order to prevent minors from buying it. 2. The Punisher - THQ The Punisher loves to interrogate people the hard way and that didn't go over too well with the British government. The game received a ban in the UK due to objectionable content. The final version eventually got an 18 plus rating but only after the publisher had made significant changes to the interrogation scenes. 1. Harvester - Merit Studios Harvester is one of the most disgusting point and click adventures you can play. This game from 1996 was banned from stores in Germany because of the many gory deaths. You can even kill kids in this game... Unless they carry a handgun apparently. And there's also a sex scene that's just painful to watch. Few titles have managed to match Harvester's volume of gore and we're pretty sure that's a good thing.
