Art and design meet automotive craftsmanship at the world's leading design and art fairs, Design Miami/and Art Basel Miami Beach. This year, both events reached a new level, coinciding with the unveiling of Audi’s flagship model, the 2011 A8. The reveal took place at the Audi Pavilion, a temporary museum structure built on Miami Beach in proximity to the iconic Fontaine Bleau Hotel. Several celebrities including Kellan Lutz, Lucy Liu, Chris Noth, Christina Ricci, and Ben McKenzie were in attendance to help kick-off the launch. Distributed by Tubemogul.

Still recognizable as a minivan from the side, the new Sienna obviously had some work done on its face, looking more like its younger sibling, the Venza. The rear of the Sienna also gets some serious sculpting, with a contoured rump that might make Shakira jealous. Aesthetics aside, the new Sienna will come in five different trims, can still be configured to seat seven or eight, and is sure to continue to be a crowd-pleaser with its litany of features. The Toyota RAV4 and Honda CR-V better watch their backs – the 2011 Kia Sorento is positioned to give them a run for their money. No longer an awkward, truck-based mini-SUV, the all-new Sorento has been “right-sized,” and given a gentler, crossover-based core -- which will likely lead to better handling for drivers and a more comfortable ride for passengers. With this “right-sizing,” Kia is also offering an economical four-cylinder engine in addition to a 3.5-liter V6. To follow this editor on Twitter, please visit *******www.twitter****/kbb_bethlear. But some might say the new E-Class Cabriolet looks awkward, while others might warm to its high belt-line and curved top-down shoulderline. Whichever side of the design coin you fall on doesn’t really matter in the long run, because, at the end of the day, everyone loves a convertible. Your sun-kissed skin glowing under blue skies and drinking in healthy vitamin D while your car shows off its shiny Mercedes badge – how better to announce your success in this world? The all-new Cadillac CTS-V Coupe sports the sedan’s bold styling cues while taking on an aggressive personality all-its-own. Like a bulldog, the CTS-V Coupe is squat, with a lower and shorter body than the Sedan. The Coupe’s greenhouse is raked back from the windshield at an acute angle, and when combined with the B-Pillar-less expanse of side glass, the CTS-V gives the appearance of motion even when stopped. Unlike this reporter, you might not be old enough to remember when the 1985 BMW 735i sedan made its mark by offering 218 horsepower from its 3.4-liter in-line six cylinder engine. Honda executives made no bones about the fact that they’d like to channel the success of the Honda CR-X, the 25 year old icon of import tuners everywhere, with the new CR-Z. But rather than a warmed-over retromobile that attempts to revive a trend of the long-distant past, the CR-Z pushes a new-technology agenda that could make it a legend in its own right.
