You play as Sam Gideon who wears a Master Chief-esque super suit that enables him to move quickly, slow down time and mix up gameplay so that Vanquish is more interesting and clever than the average duck and cover style third person shooter.

Classic Game Room reviews NAVAL ASSAULT: THE KILLING TIDE for Xbox 360 from developer Artech and publisher 505 Games. Periscope down and warp speed ahead, it's Das Boot meets Splinter Cell Conviction with submarines. Classic Game Room reviews LEFT 4 DEAD for Xbox 360, also available for PC. From Valve, the brilliant group of humans who brought us Portal and Half Life 2, comes Left for Dead! Zombies, zombies, rah rah rah! It's 28 Days Later meets a video game made to feel like 28 Days Later with excellent controls and 4-player gameplay. Released in 2008 Left 4 Dead has set the gold standard for 4 player co-op shooters over Xbox Live where teamwork and group zombie-slaughter is the name of the game. Choose from one of four characters, stock up on some health and weapons and plow your way through four levels chock full of zombies, witches, smokers and tanks. Like many popular Xbox 360 video games, once the sequel (Left for Dead 2) was released the price of the original fell below NES game cartridge levels and can be easily had anywhere today for the cost of a pizza. This CGR review of Valve's Left 4 Dead has L4D gameplay from Xbox 360 showing Left 4 Dead game play during the review.
Classic Game Room reviews SHREK FOREVER AFTER for Xbox 360, the video game based on the 4th Shrek movie from Dreamworks. Team up in the ultimate Shrek adventure, it's like Marvel Ultimate Alliance meets Shrek. This family game is made for kids and those who are huge Shrek fans. Playable by both parents and children, Shrek is fairly standard kids' game fare with high production values and decent gameplay. This CGR review of Shrek Forever After has gameplay from Shrek Forever After on Xbox 360 showing Shrek Forever After game play in HD.
Classic Game Room reviews TRON for Xbox 360. Four games in one! The concept of a collection of minigames was something of a rarity in 1982 and Tron exploded in arcades with light cycles, spiders, tanks and the MCP. Tron the video game was even more popular than Tron the movie at the time because of an amazing, memorable arcade cabinet and glowing blue joystick. How does Tron on Xbox 360 from XBLA compare? Controls are an issue but the gameplay in Tron still rocks today. Tron is an affordable download from Xbox Live and has Achievement points. Sadly the blue joystick and firing control knob are nowhere to be found and aiming is awkward with the 360 controller. This CGR review of Tron the arcade game has gameplay from Tron on Xbox 360 showing Tron game play.
Classic Game Room reviews ROCKET KNIGHT for Xbox 360, also available for Playstation 3 PS3 and PC via Steam. This retro-style remake of Rocket Knight Adventures, the 1993 Sega Genesis classic, is a revitalization of the series that brings back Sparkster and the awesome Rocket Knight style of gameplay. Use a rocket jet pack to bounce around levels and slaughter enemies while collecting gems and items. Rocket Knight is not as lengthy as its Sega Genesis counterpart but packs some good arcade style replay value with a cool scoring system based on multipliers and unlockable character skins and Achievement Points (trophies for the PS3 version). This CGR review of Rocket Knight from developer Climax and publisher Konami has gameplay from the Xbox 360 version of Rocket Knight showing Rocket Knight game play in action.
Classic Game Room reviews HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON for Xbox 360, also available for Playstation 3 PS3, Nintendo Wii and Nintendo DS. Based on the Dreamworks animated film, How to Train Your Dragon is a pseudo-fighting game with an E rating where players collect dragons, train them, feed and care for them and fight!! The CGR How to Train Your Dragon video game review has gameplay from How to Train Your Dragon showing HD game play with dragons fighting in battle. Upgrade your dragons and burn people with monsters (but don't cut them in half) for E 10+ action gaming entertainment. Play with a friend in the arcade mode and complete special challenges for achievement points (and PS3 trophies for the Playstation 3 version). Create your own dragon with parts won during gameplay to give them neat noses and wings, etc... How to Train Your Dragon is good family fun for families on Earth consisting of humans interested in playing How to Train Your Dragon (not recommended for cats).

This Space Invaders inspired arcade style game has you playing as a fly trap plant and watering down enemies before you suck them into your jaws of death. Soak the bad guys, stun them and eat them. Survive wave after wave of new enemies in this affordable, entertaining game that reminds of some Atari 2600 classics. This CGR review of Flytrap has gameplsay from the XBLA Xbox 360 download game Flytrap showing video game play action in HD. Fans of 1980's arcade classics like Galaga, Space Invaders, Demon Attack and Galaxian may want to give Fly Trap a try.
