Paper Mario: Sticker Star review. Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Paper Mario: Sticker Star (developed by Intelligent Systems, published by Nintendo) for Nintendo 3DS. In a just world, I could fill this description with appropriate clip art and be done with it. But in lieu of a giant cat or a vacuum or anything, I'll just have to go with the standard words: It's paper, it's Mario, it's kinda RPGish (but not quite), it's platformerish (with instanced battles), it's level-demarcated and puzzle-filled and occasionally silly. Frequently silly. But if you're going to return the world to peace after Bowser goes all holo-foil (no, seriously), you're going to need to track down the Royal Stickers FOUND IN SPECIALLY MARKED PACKS OF BLORB SHROOMS. (No, wait, that's the wrong Mario RPG lineage.) This video review features video gameplay footage of Paper Mario: Sticker Star for Nintendo 3DS and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's TJ.

Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Cartoon Network: Punch Time Explosion from Papaya Studios and Crave Entertainment for the Nintendo 3DS. So Cartoon Network: Punch Time Explosion arrives on the Nintendo 3DS with an awesome title and an awesome premise. This is a blatant Smash Bros. clone, only with a roster of Cartoon Network characters instead of Nintendo mascots. You're playing as a variety of Cartoon Network stars, everyone from Dexter and the Powderpuff Girls to newer stars like Chowder. Unfortunately, the execution is a huge disappointment. It's like someone came up with a great idea, but it had to be rushed out the door as quickly as possible. Rushed development of a licensed game. Imagine that. This video review features video gameplay footage of Cartoon Network: Punch Time Explosion for the Nintendo 3DS and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.

Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Samurai Warriors Chronicles from Omega Force and Tecmo Koei for the Nintendo 3DS. Samurai Warriors Chronicles was a launch title for the 3DS, but it was also the worst kind of launch title. This is a textbook example of a publisher throwing a franchise with name recognition on to a new platform as quickly as possible to have their brand along the system at launch. This franchise is the epitome of a button masher in the literal and implied meanings of the term. You're mashing buttons, and it's unabashedly repetitive. Games like this are the reason "hack and slash" is such a descriptive name for their genre. Within the tedious realm of said genre, few games are as popular as Samurai Warriors. This video review features video gameplay footage of Samurai Warriors Chronicles for the Nintendo 3DS and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.

Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Pac-Man & Galaga Dimensions from Namco Bandai for the Nintendo 3DS. Pac-Man & Galaga Dimensions is a compilation based on Namco's two biggest properties, Pac-Man and Galaga. In Dimensions, you get the original arcade games and four newer versions of Pac-Man and Galaga. Unfortunately, this six game package is as half-hearted as it is thin. Pac-Man and Galaga are two of the best games ever, but when you throw them on the 3DS and shrink them so that they fit on the top screen alone, it kind of makes them hard to play. This is a wildly overpriced package with an insulting amount of content, which makes it a fitting summation of the 3DS's existence thus far. This video review features video gameplay footage of Pac-Man & Galaga Dimensions for the Nintendo 3DS and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.

Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of 3D Classics: Excitebike from Arika and Nintendo for the Nintendo 3DS. 3D Classics: Excitebike is a downloadable game available in the 3DS eShop. Roughly the 37th port Excitebike has received since its original release in 1985, this new version of Excitebike features a great 3D effect and a gorgeous widescreen display. Excitebike has never looked better, and to us, this is the definitive version of Excitebike. The game plays as well as it ever has, but playing it through this gorgeous new window feels like a new experience. The pixels are crisp even in 2D, and when the 3D effect is on, they pop off the screen better than even a lot of retail 3DS games achieve. This video review features video gameplay footage of 3D Classics: Excitebike for the Nintendo 3DS and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.

Rise of the Guardians video review. Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow video review of Rise of the Guardians from Torus Games and D3 Publisher for the Nintendo 3DS. Rise of the Guardians falls into the obvious category of "kid friendly beat 'em up based on popular movies." You play as five characters from the film—North, Tooth, Sandman, Bunnymund and Jack Frost. That's supposed to make mashing the B button less tiresome. This video review features video gameplay footage of Rise of the Guardians for the Nintendo 3DS and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.

50 Classic Games 3D video review. Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow video review of 50 Classic Games 3D from Maximum Family Games for the Nintendo 3DS. This is a compilation of 50 classic games divided into four categories. It has board games, card games, puzzles and action games. As for their quality, they're sort of hit and miss. For example, air hockey is surprisingly good, but tennis is just a crappier version of the same game. In fact, for each enjoyable one, there was a boring one. This video review features video gameplay footage of 50 Classic Games 3D for the Nintendo 3DS and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.

Mahjong 3D: Warriors of the Emperor video review. Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow video review of Mahjong 3D: Warriors of the Emperor, a downloadable game from TREVA Entertainment on the eShop for the Nintendo 3DS. Mahjong 3D is mahjong with a story about war, 3D puzzle tiles and really weird controls. In fact, this would be a great little mahjong game if not for the controls, which have an awkward disconnect between stylus and cursor. Nonetheless, you play as a Chinese king who wants to conquer land. We're not even going to try with the names. This video review features video gameplay footage of Mahjong 3D: Warriors of the Emperor for the Nintendo 3DS and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.

Wild Adventures: Ultimate Deer Hunt 3D video review. Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow video review of Wild Adventures: Ultimate Deer Hunt 3D, a downloadable game from eV Interactive on the eShop for the Nintendo 3DS. Wild Adventures is an on rails shooter that takes you on a hunting trip through more than a dozen locations, from forests and mountains to valleys and rivers, for an exhilarating on-rails protein harvest. It's not pretty, but the game does play well. Aiming with the stylus is always smooth and accurate. This video review features video gameplay footage of Wild Adventures: Ultimate Deer Hunt 3D for the Nintendo 3DS and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.

101 DinoPets 3D video review. Classic Game Room presents a CGR U+ndertow video review of 101 DinoPets 3D, a downloadable game from Selectsoft and Teyon on the eShop for the Nintendo 3DS. 101 DinoPets 3D this is a pet simulator. Think Nintendogs, but with dinosaurs. The game seems to promise there are 101 of them, but that's kind of deceiving. The truth is there are five different dinosaur species to choose from. Since you can customize their appearance, that means math, marketing, 101 dinosaurs. This video review features video gameplay footage of 101 DinoPets 3D for the Nintendo 3DS and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.

Duke Nukem 3D video review. Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow video review of Duke Nukem 3D from Tiger Electronics for the game****. This game is like the first person shooter that existed before first person shooters. You can move Duke forward, backward and to the side, but you can't turn around. He only faces forward, both because the game**** is exceptionally weak and because Duke is not a pussy. Slaughter aliens, find the door to the next room and slaughter more aliens. This video review features video gameplay footage of Duke Nukem 3D for the game**** and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.

Duke Nukem Game**** review. *******www.ClassicGameRoom**** Shop CGR shirts! *******www.CGRstore**** Classic Game Room reviews DUKE NUKEM 3D for Game**** from 3D Realms and Tiger Electronics. This may be the worst version of Duke Nukem ever made, but it's pretty good for the Game****! The iconic, loud-mouthed first person shooter from the 90s beeps and boops off the Tiger Game**** handheld in one direction with never ending hallways and terrible sound effects.
