A pool is a great place to jump in, but not with an accelerated speed gained on a skateboard. I’m sure this kid is not trying that again.

Side effects of ionizing radiation depends on many factors, including how sensitive you are to radiation, the strength of radiation you are exposed to, duration of exposure, how often you are exposed, how far are you from the source of radiation, the body part that is being exposed, your state of health and etc. Exposure to very strong ionizing radiation, such as during a nuclear warfare or nuclear power plant accident, can cause acute radiation poisoning or even death. Acute radiation poisoning is also possible during certain nuclear medical procedures such as cancer radiation therapy in which patients are exposed to high but controlled levels of radiation. Such patients may experience short-term side effects for example fatigue, lack of energy, hair loss, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, difficulty swallowing, loss of appetite, changes or loss of taste, mouth ulcers, difficulty urinating, erectile dysfunction, infertility, dry skin, skin peeling and redness within days or even hours after the treatment. These adverse effects vary from person to person and are dosage- and parts-dependent. On the other hand, regular exposure to low doses of ionizing radiation can also increase the risk of longer term side effects such as cataract and cancer. For instance, healthcare workers who operate or come in contact with medical devices that produce ionizing radiation on a regular basis may be at risk of developing brain, head and neck tumor due to their cumulative exposure to radiation scattered from patients. Ionizing radiation can also cause oxidative damage in skeletal tissues, and result in an imbalance in bone remodeling. These changes in remodeling activity can lead to accelerated bone loss, impaired bone structural integrity and fragility, and symptoms that resemble osteoporosis.

These days, the manual acceleration of lymph drainage is mainly used by practitioners to reduce the size of lymphedemas, even though the main function of the lymphatic system is detoxification and disposal of metabolic waste. The compromised quality of the air, water, food, etc., causes significant accumulations of metabolic waste products in our body, some of which are toxic. In many cases, this accumulation of toxins causes us to feel low energy levels, fatigue, mood swings (the clinical symptoms of which are often confused with depression by physicians) fatigue, etc. There is no doubt that lymph drainage is a powerful method for lymphedema reduction, but I also believe we should offer lymph drainage to our clients as a detoxification program. Clients who receive full-body medical massage regularly (for example, on a weekly basis) should be getting a lymph drainage session every fifth treatment. I do not advise therapists to incorporate techniques of full-body massage with lymph drainage techniques, as this can cause severe reactions such as headache, dizziness, nausea, etc. Detoxification causes a significant improvement in the power and function of the immune system. I personally see regular lymph drainage sessions incorporated with full-body stress management massage as no less important than immunization against the flu virus and other infections. Immunizations sometimes do not protect people from contracting the flu, for example. A consistent detoxification program has proven very effective in protecting humans from infections. Introduction The main function of the lymphatic system is detoxification, but it also plays an important role in immunity. Lymph is an extracellular fluid that enters the lymphatic vessels and is mixed with cellular elements. The lymphatic system starts at the lymphatic sacs in the extracellular spaces.

Siberian Ginseng – Soviet researchers have reported that eleuthero extract has radioprotective abilities, and can be used therapeutically in conditions of acute and chronic radiation and sicknesses such as hemorrhaging, severe anemia, dizziness, nausea, vomiting , and headaches due to x-rays. Panax Ginseng – Hemorrhage was a symptom of humans exposed to atomic radiations in Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Japanese research doctors found that “Panax ginseng prevented hemorrhaging tendency after x-irradiation.” Bone marrow death is one result of radiation damage to blood-forming tissues. It occurs ten to twenty days after exposure to high doses of radiation. Panax ginseng extract prevents bone marrow death and accelerates normalization of red and white blood cell counts in animal studies. Gingko Biloba – According to Science News Daily, extracts of its leaves contain antioxidant compounds including glycosides and terpenoids known as ginkgolides and bilobalides. These compounds are thought to protect cells from damage by free radicals and other reactive oxidizing species found in the body. These are generated continuously by the body’s normal metabolism, and in excess in some diseases or after exposure to pollution or radiation. They damage proteins, DNA and other biomolecules and left unchecked can kill cells. Results suggest that ginko biloba extracts can neutralize the free-radicals and oxidizing agents produced in the cells by the radiation and so prevent them from undergoing apoptosis. (*) Black & Green Tea – The polyphenol epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG) derived from green tea protects animals from whole-body radiation, blocking lipid oxidation and prolonging life span. Several sources indicate that there were hundreds who survived Hiroshima at ground zero and the one thing they all had in common was drinking 20 cups of green tea per day.

India Successfully Tests Fires Brahmos Missile From Su-30MKI | Latest Video Viral Trending | - Brahmos creates history, successfully test-fired from Sukhoi-30 MKI fighter aircraft The fastest supersonic cruise missile in the world–the Brahmos– created history on Wednesday when it was successfully test-fired for the first time from an Indian Air Force’s Sukhoi-30 MKI fighter aircraft against a sea-based target in the Bay of Bengal. The missile was not launched directly from the aircraft, rather it was dropped from under its fuselage. The missile’s two-stage engine then fired up propelling it towards the target at supersonic speeds. A video grab showing the BrahMos supersonic cruise missile, that was fired succesfully for the first time from a Sukhoi-30MKI fighter jet of the Indian Air Force, above the Bay of Bengal. The missile was gravity dropped from the Su-30MKI from its fuselage, and the two-stage missile’s engine fired up and was propelled towards the intended target in the Bay of Bengal. This test effectively gives the Indian armed forces the ability to fire Brahmos Air Launched Cruise Missile (ALCM). According to a post launch release by the Ministry of Defence, the successful test firing “will significantly bolster the IAF’s air combat operations capability from stand-off ranges.” In the image above, land-attack version of Brahmos supersonic cruise missile being successfully test-fired by the Navy in the Bay of Bengal. The Brahmos ALCM weighs 2.5 tonne and till date it is the heaviest weapon to be deployed on the Su-30 MKI. The aircraft was especially modified by Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd for giving it the missile-carrying capability. The missile is propelled first by a solid propellant booster engine that takes it to supersonic speeds. After it separates, the missile is accelerated further to around three times the speed of sound (mach 3) in the cruise phase with a liquid ramjet.
