soyoungplus net What causes BPH? Benign prostatic hyperplasia is probably a normal part of the aging process in men, caused by changes in hormone balance and in cell growth. What are the symptoms? BPH causes urinary problems such as: Trouble getting a urine stream started and completely stopped (dribbling). Often feeling like you need to urinate. This feeling may even wake you up at night. A weak urine stream. A sense that your bladder is not completely empty after you urinate. In a small number of cases, BPH may cause the bladder to be blocked, making it impossible or extremely hard to urinate. This problem may cause backed-up urine (urinary retention), leading to bladder infections or stones, or kidney damage. BPH does not cause prostate cancer and does not affect a man's ability to father children. It does not cause erection problems.

Anyone can get a fungal nail infection, but they are more common in men than women and the elderly than the young. Some additional traits or factors raise the risk of nail fungal infection, these include: diminished blood circulation slow growing nails a family history of fungal infection (genetics) heavy perspiration humid or moist work environment wearing artificial nails wearing socks and shoes that prevent ventilation walking barefoot in damp public places (swimming pools, gyms, and shower rooms) previous injury or infection to the skin or nail diabetes, AIDS, circulation problems, a weakened immune system tight footwear with crowding of toes exercise that causes repeated minor trauma to the hyponychium (where the finger tip attaches to the nail) Older adults are the most at risk of nail fungus infections as lower blood circulation and slower growing nails are part of the natural aging process.

People are constantly exposed to low levels of naturally occurring radiation called background radiation. Background radiation comes from cosmic radiation and from radioactive elements in the air, water, and ground. Cosmic radiation is concentrated at the poles by the earth’s magnetic field and is attenuated by the atmosphere. Thus, exposure is greater for people living at high latitudes, at high altitudes, or both and during airplane flights. Terrestrial sources of external radiation exposure are primarily due to the presence of radioactive elements with half-lives comparable to the age of the earth (~4.5 billion years). In particular, uranium (238U) and thorium (232Th) along with several dozen of their radioactive progeny and a radioactive isotope of potassium (40K) are present in many rocks and minerals. Small quantities of these radionuclides are in the food, water, and air and thus contribute to internal exposure as these radionuclides are invariably incorporated into the body. The majority of the dose from internally incorporated radionuclides is from radioisotopes of carbon (14C) and potassium (40K), and because these and other elements (stable and radioactive forms) are constantly replenished in the body by ingestion and inhalation, there are approximately 7,000 atoms undergoing radioactive decay each second. Internal exposure from the inhalation of radioactive isotopes of the noble gas radon (222Rn and 220Rn), which are also formed from the Uranium (238U) decay series, accounts for the largest portion (73%) of the US population's average per capita naturally occurring radiation dose. Cosmic radiation accounts for 11%, radioactive elements in the body for 9%, and external terrestrial radiation for 7%. In the US, people receive an average effective dose of about 3 millisieverts (mSv)/yr from natural sources (range ~0.5 to 20 mSv/yr). However, in some parts of the world, people receive > 50 mSv/yr. The doses from natural background radiation are far too low

www angioclear com What Causes Narrowing Of The Arteries - Does High Cholesterol Causes Narrowing Of The Arteries? Hardening of the arteries often occurs with aging. As you grow older, plaque buildup narrows your arteries and makes them stiffer. These changes make it harder for blood to flow through them. Clots may form in these narrowed arteries and block blood flow. Pieces of plaque can also break off and move to smaller blood vessels, blocking them. These blockages starve tissues of blood and oxygen. This can result in damage or tissue death. It is a common cause of heart attack and stroke. High blood cholesterol levels can cause hardening of the arteries at a younger age. For many people, high cholesterol levels are due to a diet that is too high in saturated fats and trans fats. Other factors that can contribute to hardening of the arteries include: Diabetes Family history of hardening of the arteries High blood pressure Lack of exercise Being overweight or obese Smoking

diabetesnew247 .com Excess sugar in your bloodstream attaches onto proteins all over your body and damages them. These damaged proteins are called advanced glycation end products or AGEs. Although everyone receives AGE damage as they age, out-of-control diabetics get it much earlier and at a higher rate. The accumulation of these AGEs in your tissues causes many of the complications of diabetes. They cause inflammation that can trigger clogged arteries leading to heart disease.

Low Testosterone levels is not an uncommon thing. In the USA, approximately 9 out of 10 people suffering from low testosterone levels go untreated. That is mostly because Low-T can affect many aspects of health and wellness, and so the various symptoms are often attributed to other problems that may or may not exist. Some of the symptoms of Low-T are: loss of sex drive, weariness, trouble sleeping, obesity, and more. These issues are also sometimes attributed to aging in general, and while it is true that Low-T becomes more likely in older men, it does not mean that it has to go untreated. Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) is more accessible that ever, and more affordable. HRT treatments are varied for many health problems, but one of the primary uses is to treat hormone imbalance in adults, including testosterone supplementation. And although there are never any promises regarding HRT (every patient has different reactions, and while it is largely effective, sometimes results are not everything that was hoped for), HRT has proved to be the answer for many people. If you think you may have Low-T, contact your physician, educate yourself about HRT, and consider contacting us. We are a certified Hormone Replacement Therapy group, with clinics across the 50 United States. Please look us up at Conscious Evolution Institute of Hormone Replacement Therapy, and visit us at HGH Dot TV.
