1972 (Two inspirational LOVE songs from Shirley Bassey's LP Titled, 'And I Love You So') The incomparable Shirley. Bassey, as always, places her unique stamp on these two beautiful tracks with her powerful, but beautifully moving renditions of these two wonderful songs! ABOUT I Don't Know How To Love Him: "I Don't Know How to Love Him" is a song from the 1970 rock opera Jesus Christ Superstar written by Andrew Lloyd Webber (music) and Tim Rice (lyrics), a torch ballad sung by the character of Mary Magdalene who in Jesus Christ Superstar is presented as bearing an unrequited love for the title character. As she has done with many songs from musicals, Shirley Bassey places her own individual stamp and has recorded this as a POP Song, with a different arrangement that the original musical score. LYRICS - I Don't Know How To Love Him: I don't know how to love him. What to do, how to move him. I've been changed, yes really changed. In these past few days, when I've seen myself, I seem like someone else. I don't know how to take this. I don't see why he moves me. He's a man. He's just a man. And I've had so many men before, In very many ways, He's just one more. Should I bring him down? Should I scream and shout? Should I speak of love, Let my feelings out? I never thought I'd come to this. What's it all about? Don't you think it's rather funny, I should be in this position. I'm the one who's always been So calm, so cool, no lover's fool, Running every show. He scares me so. I never thought I'd come to this. What's it all about? Yet, if he said he loved me, I'd be lost. I'd be frightened. I couldn't cope, just couldn't cope. I'd turn my head. I'd back away. I wouldn't want to know. He scares me so. I want him so. I love him so LYRICS - If We Only Have Love: If we only have love then tomorrow we'll dawn and the days of our years will rise on that morn' if we only have love to embrase without fears we will kiss with our eyes we will sleep without tears if we only have love with our arms open wide then the young and the old will stand at our side if we only have love love that's falling like rain then the parch desert Earth will grow green again if we only have love for the hym that we shout for the song that we sing then we'll have a way out if we only have love we can reach those in pain we can heal all our wounds we can use our own names if we only have love we can melt all the guns and then give the new world to our daughters and sons if we only have love then Jersusalem's stands and then death has no shadow there are no foreign lands if we only have love we will never bow down we'll be tall as the pines neither here or nor clowns if we only have love then we'll only be men and we'll drink from the grail to be born once again then with nothing at all but the middle we are we'll have conquered all time all space the sun and the stars Many thanks to the Shirley Bassey Blog, and all those who have contributed wonderful pictures of Shirley, which are used in this clip.

A great love duet song sung by Josie Aiello & Peter Hewlett from Andrew Lloyd Webber's Starlight Express, a very popular musical show. Starlight Express is a rock musical by Andrew Lloyd Webber (music), Richard Stilgoe (lyrics) and Arlene Phillips (choreography), with later revisions by Don Black (lyrics) and David Yazbek (music and lyrics for the 2nd US tour). The story follows a child's dream in which his toy train set comes to life; famously the actors perform wearing roller skates...pls enjoy!!!
