Clips from a film on child rescue from a circus in UP were shown to build the story.

Anju Grover, Programming Head: FocusTV, Asia's first news and current affairs channel for women, organised special discussion `women speak' on the occasion of independence day in which four women ( in the age group of 20 and 90) were invited to discuss 3 critical issues namely, price rise, rights of rights and corruption in public life. From: Anju Grover, Programming Head, FocusTV As part of ongoing `save the girl child’ campaign on FocusTV,we showed a special programme `chuppi todo’ (break silence and speak) in which we showed clips of a documentary highlighting the issue of child abuse and encouraging children including to raise voice against sexual abuse, if there is any. It has been found that children including girl children are often subjected to sexual abuse by a relative or somebody known to the family. The available data( india) has shown this trend and hence steps need to be taken to stop this trend and children should be encouraged to raise voice against it.
