Products Used to Wash hair:
Biolage Hydrating Shampoo & Conditioning Balm for Dry, Damaged Hair.
--- After washing the hair, I applied the conditioning balm to damp hair, combed it through, & tied it up with a plastic bag to 'deep condition the hair' for about 5 minutes, then rinsed & proceeded to blow dry.
Products Used to Blow Dry Hair:
Paul Mitchell Super Skinny [Smoothing] Serum (to help with frizz & straightening), Aphogee Pro-Vitamin Leave-In Conditioner (sprayed lightly to condition hair), Cantu Shea Butter Leave-In Conditioning Repair Cream (applied to my REAL hair; around the edges & the front piece I left out, as well as a little to the hair).
-- After applying all these products, once again detangle the hair. Using a comb attatchment, or a nozzle attatchment & fine tooth comb, blow dry the hair as straight as possible.
Products Used to Flat Iron & Curl the Hair:
USE A HEAT PROTECTANT!! I used Pure Raw Shea Butter Oil (those little tubes near the checkout at the Beauty Supply! mine was about 0.99!). Also, during (if you want harder more stay put curls) & after (to hold the syle in place & fight even more frizz & humidity) spray with a holding hair spray, & a light oil sheen (for extra shine & moisture). I used Oil Sheen by Cantu, & Garnier Fructis Light Flexible Hold Hair Spray (helps hold the style in place, as wel as fight this Houston humidity!)
-- I just put about 2 quarter sized amounts of the oil in my hand, and applied to the hair, combed through, & began the heat styling. I didn't spray hair spray during, because I wanted softer loooser curls. I just sprayed it at the end, to hold it, along with oil sheen :)
Hope this helped, loves!
