Could new wireless headphones be on the horizon for tech mogul Apple? Looks like it. “Apple insider reported Apple Inc. is rumored to have acquired accessory maker Wi-Gear. Wi-Gear has sold iPhone and iPod bluetooth headphones and adapters.” (Financial News Network Online) Rumors are buzzing that Apple bought the wireless headphone maker Wi-Gear in September. Although nothing has been confirmed -- or denied -- by either company, tech junkies are analyzing the could-be acquisition. A writer for Arse Technica says this move is straight from the Apple playbook. “The purchase of Wi-Gear would follow Apple's typical acquisition pattern of buying up innovative but small companies, usually for a relatively low price. The acquisitions are usually for technologies and talent, not specific products...” But 9-to-5 Mac, which broke the story, says Apple is brewing some new products for the future. “Apple plans to build its own stereo Bluetooth headphones for future iOS devices and MacBooks with technology and expertise from Wi-Gear. As you’ll recall, Apple didn’t have a great amount of success with its own Bluetooth mono headset...” A writer for Giga-om says accessory makers should be worried if this acquisition turns out to be true. “Now that Apple’s available cash exceeds $50 billion, the company is keen on making strategic acquisitions, and part of that strategy could involve profiting more directly from the ecosystem third-party companies have helped create and grow.” One thing has been confirmed: Wi-Gear’s co-founder Michael Kim is now officially working with Apple. According to his personal LinkedIn page, Kim is listed as an “iOS Bluetooth Engineer at Apple Inc.” So Apple lovers -- Wi-Gear -- or just plain -- why?

To win your Iphone 4s visit ...techme2012.blogspot**** Apple Inc. has postponed sales of its iPhone 4S in the company's mainland China stores on Friday. The move followed the angry reaction of customers and scalpers who threw eggs at the flagship Beijing store after it failed to open on schedule at 7am. Hundreds of people had waited overnight in freezing weather at the store on Beijing's east side. According to the company, it canceled the opening due to safety concerns, AP reports. To protect the safety of customers and employees, Apple will sell the hi-end smartphone online and through its local carrier for the time being.
