On Sunday, March 7th, 2010, the E! network held an Oscars after-party at Drai's Hollywood club at the W Hotel. While nobody who was nominated or who won at the Oscars showed up before we left at 10:30pm, we took advantage of the chance to speak with Josh Sussman (aka Jacob Ben Israel of FOX's "Glee"), Iqbal Theba (aka Principal Figgins of FOX's "Glee"), Giuliana Rancic (co-host of "E! News"), Aaron Paul (of AMC's "Breaking Bad" and HBO's "Big Love"), astronaut Buzz Aldrin (who will be on ABC's "Dancing With The Stars"), Aiden Turner & Edyta Sliwinska (from "Dancing With The Stars"), Anna Trebunskaya ("Dancing With The Stars"), Kevin Pereira (co-host of G4's "Attack of the Show"), James Kyson-Lee (aka Ando Masahashi in NBC's "Heroes"), and director Morgan Spurlock.
As you can imagine, the area was crawling with limos and helicopters, something that Kevin Pereira referred to in our conversation (Pereira is also a tech entrepreneur and later in the evening was launching the Beta of what appears to be a content aggregator application for Twitter over at Clusterr.com). It was also great to speak with actor Aaron Paul who was celebrating both the season finale of "Big Love" (last night at 9pm) as well as the imminent premiere of AMC's "Breaking Bad" (we spoke with Paul last year at the Emmys; Aaron Paul was referring to the "Breaking Bad" season premiere event at the Arclight tomorrow at 7pm). ABC's "Dancing With The Stars" were well represented at the party which, as well as FOX's "Glee" whose Josh Sussman and Iqbal Theba. Distributed by Tubemogul.
