The HitFix Big Movie takes a look inside 'Brave'
Brave features Merida, an aspiring archer and impulsive daughter of royalty. Merida makes an irresponsible decision that inadvertently unleashes danger and forces her to launch into action to set events right.
Brave review. Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Brave from Behaviour Interactive and Disney Interactive Studios for the PlayStation 3. Brave made a good first impression with us simply because of the way it tells Pixar's story. Rather than retell the film, the game tells its own variation of the story by putting Merida on a quest. She has to travel to eight different lands to eradicate the blight caused by the cursed bear Mor'du. Merida can hack and slash with her sword, and she can fire arrows by shooting with the right analog stick. For a licensed game, Brave is pretty good. Brave: The Video Game review. Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Brave: The Video Game from Behaviour Interactive and Disney Interactive Studios for the Nintendo DS. Disney and Pixar's Brave comes to the Nintendo DS in a form taken by many other movie games. This is a simple beat 'em up. You play as Merida, and you move through linear environments and slay repetitive hordes of enemies. As you'd expect, Merida is a sharpshooter. She has a bow and a sword, and you mash buttons to use them. Merida can be upgraded in a few different areas. It's not a bad game, but of course, we would much rather have seen a pixelated Brave game than one with boring 3D models. We want a Brave game like A Link to the Past. Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Batman: The Brave and the Bold from WayForward Technologies and Warner Bros. Interactive for the Nintendo Wii. Batman: The Brave and the Bold is also available for the Nintendo DS. Batman: The Brave and the Bold is based on the popular animated series of the same name, and as any devout fan of the Dark Knight will tell you, the show might not be what you'd expect. Although the game is clearly intended for children, it emphasizes lesser-known characters from the Batman universe. Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow video game review of Phantom Brave, a tactical RPG developed and published in 2004 by Nippon-Ichi for the Playstation 2. Though the plot details the emotional destruction of a emonically gifted little girl, there's a lot to celebrate in this, the first gridless tactical RPG from the makers of Disgaea. Combine characters, plants, fish, and whatever else you have on hand to defeat the evil trying to enter this world, and clear Marona's name once and for all. This CGRundertow video game review features video gameplay footage of Phantom Brave for the Playstation 2 and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's TJ.
