I wanted to see how my girlfriend would react to a ghost coming out the tv trying to grab hold of her. To use this video in a commercial player or in broadcasts, please email licensingstoryful.com I did it by creating a ghost like puppet that would clamp to the tv screen. I had to stop her running out the house. She said "my legs went like jelly, I couldn't really think what was happening but all I knew was that thing just kept coming at me". At the end you see her looking over at it. She was asking. "What is it? What is it?". I like the fact torch stayed standing up right the entire time. Even with all the kicking lol. I don't think I've ever seen a mouth open so wide screaming. I spent quite a few weeks planning the prank. The week before it I told her I thought I saw a woman standing at the end of our bed in the middle of the night. I used scraps of wood for the television bracket. I would pick up bits when we were out shopping. The missus would ask "why du need rubber gloves?" For the hands! "they'd be handy when I'm washing my paint brushes". "What du want party balloons for?" paper machet head! "in case it's someones birthday". The rest was bubble wrap, brown paper, old clothes, coat hanger, tape & paint to create the puppet. I worked on it every now and again when the missus was out and hid it in the attic. After that I waited for the perfect moment when she would be asleep in front of the TV. I used 2 wooden rods to control the arms from the stair case. The prank footage was about 11 mins long (pulling out the tv, re-angling it, setting up the cameras, the screen saver) but I trimmed it down to what was hopefully 2 mins of the best bits. I've done quite a few pranks in the past but only recently filmed them. I had the camcorder set up in the corner of the room, My phone to record one view and very cheekily used her phone for the other. On the night I asked "would you like me to put your phone on charge?" "Ah that's so sweet of you". Well I didn't want that battery running out! Here are some pranks I've done -A mate was moving to live in Dubai so everyone got together and had a leaving game of poker. I knew he'd ask for a cup of coffee at some point of the night, as we played quite regularly. I'd brought along some liquid laxatives. Gave him a dose. Later when it kicked in the lads noticed him squirming with his legs crossed on the arm of the sofa. After the game a few of us were heading back to mine for drinks. I was drinking all night and had forgotten the prank, but it came back to me when he said "have you got bog roll at yours?" "Yeah why?" "'Coz I've f**kin' destroyed theirs" -I bought a salmon sandwich left it in a sealed bag for about 2 weeks. Then delivered it to a friend on his birthday. I'd used an envelope which I'd received from abroad cut out my address and printed his name & address. When he received it some of the lads were with him. As he stood at the table they asked him what have you got there? He stared clueless into the envelope for about 30 seconds then emptied it onto some newspaper. They questioned had he p*ssed someone off at work. With it being from abroad and not knowing what the smelly contents were. After examining it, they concluded it might be anthrax. -Same guy I filled his bed with gobstoppers. I got a text at 2am saying "I almost rolled out of bed" -There was a circular pot of cheese with black mould on it in a friends fridge. I took it upon myself to dispose of it. I placed it on a lamp in my mates bedroom, it fit perfectly into the circular hole of the shade. He was clueless for about a week where the hot moldy cheese stench was coming from. -I collected all the cut hair from a hairdressers. Used to fill a mates food cupboard. It was disgusting, hair on the bread, the ketchup everything. When he opened the cupboard, various colours of hair floated out it. He just closed the cupboard door and said nothing. I filled someones bed with smashed up cookies. I got a text saying "that's the first time I've ever had to hoover my bed at 3am" There's others, but this is probably the worst reaction I've ever seen to any of my pranks. Or the best!? I don't recommend trying this prank. Don't try this on anyone with a heart condition, or elderly. Use discretion. Be careful not to damage your television. I take no responsibility for anyone harmed or upset or any consequences. Watching prank v prank & prank wars and the extremely scary ghost elevator prank in Brazil inspired me to start videoing pranks but when my April Fool FAIL video ended up on teen.com I liked the fact that people all around the world could see what I'd done which in turn made me make the ghost out the screen prank. Gladys the Ghost is now back up in the attic since the missus can't stand to look at her. Enjoy ghost out the screen, please subscribe and check out my others clips and I'll continue to think up some other hopefully original pranks Music by: Giles Corey - Buried Above Ground

---------READ THIS------------- SUBSCRIBE FOR MORE By saying Strangest people i mean they are different PART 2,3,4,5,6,7 and 8 AVAILABLE NOW Check them -----Worlds Hairiest Man----- This walking" bear rug" is 26-year-old Yu Zhenhuan of China, and 96 percent of his body is covered with hair. Yu's pubelike pelt sprouts from everywhere but his palms and soles, to the tune of 41 hairs per square centimeter. What's worse, his mane actually made Yu sick. His locks snaked so far into his ear that they not only caused him earaches and nausea but also cut off a third of his hearing. Luckily, a recent operation cleared out the old growth, which could have spelled trouble for Yu's current career as a rock singer. You GO guy! -----Worlds Tallest Man----- The tallest man in medical history for whom there is irrefutable evidence is Robert Pershing Wadlow. He was born at Alton, Illinois, USA, on February 22, 1918, and when he was last measured on June 27, 1940, was found to be 2.72 m (8 ft 11.1 in) tall.Wadlow died at 1:30 a.m. on July 15, 1940, in a hotel in Manistee, Michigan, as a result of a septic blister on his right ankle caused by a brace, which had been poorly fitted only a week earlier. He was buried in Oakwood Cemetery, Alton, in a coffin measuring 3.28 m (10 ft 9 in) long, 81 cm (32 in) wide and 76 cm (30 in) deep.Wadlow's greatest recorded weight was 222.71 kg (35 st 1 lb) on his 21st birthday and he weighed 199 kg (31 st 5 lb) at the time of his death. His shoe size was 37AA (47 cm, 18½ in long) and his hands measured 32.4 cm (12¾ in) from the wrist to the tip of the middle finger. He wore a size 25 ring. His arm span was 2.88 m (9 ft 5¾ in) and his peak daily food consumption was 8000 calories. -----Worlds Longest Ear Hair----- Radhakant Bajpai of Naya Ganj, Uttar Pradesh, India, has hair sprouting from the centre of his outer ears (middle of the pinna) that measures an incredible 13.2 cm (5.19 in) at its longest point. The length of the 50-year-old's pinna pelt was confirmed by medical examiner Dr. R P Gupta. "Making it to Guinness World Records is indeed a special occasion for me and my family," s aid Radhakant. "God has been very kind to me." -----Worlds Smallest Waist----- Cathie Jung's waist is about the same size as a regular jar of mayonnaise. She's been wearing a corset every day for the past 12 years, and she now wears one 24 hours a day. "I probably have around 100 of them," says the corset queen. Corsets were hugely popular in Victorian times (during the 1800s), when they were often strengthened with pieces of whalebone. Corsets pinch the waist, and if worn for a long time they can permanently alter the shape of the waistline. The wasp-waist look went out of fashion in the 1920s, but Cathie says that plenty of folks still enjoy it today. "A lot of people think it's wonderful," she says. "But some people think it's ridiculous, perhaps they're jealous because they're overweight." Cathie says her tiny waist has not caused her any health problems. -----Worlds Longest Fingernails----- Chillal of Poona, India had his record-breaking fingernails measured on the set of Guinness World Records: Primetime. The combined length of the five nails of his left hand were found to be a staggering 6.15 m (20 ft 2.25 in). Shridhar does not grow the nails on his right hand. His ambition to grow his nails started from a young age. He says, "As a boy, I had an inclination to do something unique and outstanding. One day, I just happened to read about a Chinese saint who grew his nails and thought I could do that to create a world record."But how easy was it to achieve such a record-breaking length? "Growing my nails has been a really traumatic experience, as I had to take the utmost care in nurturing their growth during the last 48 years. For as many years I have used my right hand for all my day-to-day chores and nobody can believe I have also had to forego a peaceful night's sleep. So it's against all the odds of daily life including reading, writing, cycling, walking, and so on, that I have successfully grown my nails. Shridhar's hand is now permanently disfigured from supporting the weight of the nails all these years, and nerve damage has resulted in deafness in his left ear. When asked if it was worth the effort and pain, he replied: "What does man not do for fame? He jumps from boats, dives from planes and does stunts on motorcycles. This is also done for fame... So, yes, I will do it all over again if I were to have another life." SUBSCRIBE FOR MORE

Two species of tropical octopus have evolved a neat trick to avoid predators - they lift up six of their arms and walk backward on the other two. The Indonesian coconut octopus, Octopus marginatus, scoots along the ocean floor using the tips of its arms. (Video by Bob Cranston/Sea Studios, Inc.; Rights protected clip. Not to be copied.) More video: The octopus Octopus aculeatus maintains its algae-like camouflage while walking backwards on two arms, using the outer part of each arm like a conveyor belt. (Video by Crissy Huffard/UC Berkeley) 1.2Mb QuickTime file This first report of bipedal behavior in octopuses, written by University of California, Berkeley, researchers, will be published in the March 25 issue of Science. When walking, these octopuses use the outer halves of their two back arms like tank treads, alternately laying down a sucker edge and rolling it along the ground. In Indonesia, for example, the coconut octopus looks like a coconut tiptoeing along the ocean bottom, six of its arms wrapped tightly around its body. UC Berkeley graduate student Crissy Huffard clocked the two-legged speed of one coconut octopus at two and a half inches per second, while a second individual zoomed along, backwards, at five and a half inches per second. This is faster than they can crawl, but probably slower than they jet around. The other type of octopus, which camouflages itself as algae in tropical waters from Indonesia to Australia, looks like a sea monster scooting along the sea floor on two legs. Huffard filmed this creature off Australia's Great Barrier Reef easily rolling over rocks and other obstacles. "This behavior is very exciting," said Huffard, who first noted it five years ago in the coconut octopus but only recently was able to capture both types of octopuses on film. "This is the first underwater bipedal locomotion I know of, and the first example of hydrostatic bipedal movement." Huffard and coauthor Robert Full, professor of integrative biology at UC Berkeley, think that this bipedal walking is a strategy octopuses use to backpedal away from predators while remaining camouflaged. Octopuses camouflage themselves by changing both color and shape, but when startled and forced to move quickly, they have to give up their camouflage. Not so when walking. "This bipedal behavior allows them to get away and remain cryptic," said Huffard. An octopus is basically a water-filled balloon, but with the fluid contained in muscle cells rather than an open cavity. It keeps its shape not with an internal or external skeleton but by hydrostatic pressure, sometimes called a hydrostatic skeleton or muscular hydrostat. Normally, it crawls over the bottom of the ocean, pushing and pulling with the suckers on its eight arms, or jets backwards through the water. All these movements are accomplished through muscles that squeeze and bend the fluid-filled arms and body. Full said he was "blown away" when Huffard showed him video of the octopuses last year. He urged her to obtain more video that could be used to more clearly see how they walk, and encouraged her to publish the observations. Full, who looks at many types of animal locomotion and seeks to determine how animals control such movements, sees a revolutionary new principle in how the octopus uses its arms - one that could be used in making soft, squishy robots. "Understanding behavior like this could usher in a new frontier of 'soft' robotics," in contrast to the rigid robots common today, he said. "New artificial muscles that can stiffen at will could reproduce this walking behavior," said Full. "The wonderful thing about soft robotics is that it's infinitely adaptable, unlike the few degrees of freedom of rigid robots." Huffard first noticed the coconut octopus, Octopus marginatus, dancing along the sand in 2000, while helping a film crew obtain octopus footage off the island of Sulawesi in Indonesia. The octopus, with a head about two inches long, lives on the sandy bottom in water some 20 to 30 meters (60 to 100 feet) deep, among lots of sunken coconuts, and even hides out in the shells of coconuts, drawing two halves around it to hide. Its weird walking behavior, no doubt noticed by numerous other divers, has apparently never been analyzed in the scientific literature, she said. "We know so little about these animals," Huffard said, noting that only 200 of perhaps 300 species of octopus from around the world have been described. She herself is writing up descriptions of five new octopuses, one from Hawaii and four from Tonga. She filed away her observations about O. marginatus, however, to concentrate on her thesis, which involves the behavior of another Indonesian octopus, Octopus (Abdopus) aculeatus. This creature with a head the size of a walnut inhabits the intertidal zone, foraging along sandy bottoms among grasses and hiding out in tidepools or burying itself in the sand at low tide. To camouflage itself, it sometimes coils its two front arms and raises them in a pose that somewhat resembles algae. Two years ago, while Huffard was visiting her thesis advisor, UC Berkeley integrative biology professor Roy Caldwell, on Lizard Island 45 miles north of Cairns, Australia, she decided to take a look at local members of that same species. She snorkeled out to capture one and, after putting it in a tank at the research station, was surprised to see it also walking on two arms. "It seemed like it was walking on little conveyor belts," she said. She suspects that the reason she never saw this behavior in O. aculeatus in Indonesia, despite some thousand hours of snorkeling over five years, is that in Indonesia, the currents are often too strong for such behavior. Both Huffard and Full are interested in how these octopuses control their unusual form of bipedal locomotion. Recent articles shed light on this. Israeli scientists have reported that octopus arms execute incredibly complex curling and bending motions even when cut off. Apparently a nerve ganglion in each arm can send clock-like signals down the arm to produce rhythmic movements, such as bends propagating down the arm, irrespective of whether there is a head and brain to control them. Similar movements seem to be involved in two-legged walking. "These are stereotyped movements that don't need feedback from the brain," Huffard said. "A lot of behavior is built into the ganglia of each octopus arm, so that seemingly complex behavior is really simple," Full added. Similar controls could make a soft robotic arm a lot easier to control than it would seem, and make it feasible to build an octopus robot that walks. An article in the Feb. 11, 2005, issue of Nature revealed just such a mechanism. Huffard's research was supported by an American Malacological Society Student Research Grant. Full is supported by the National Science Foundation. A third co-author on the paper is Farnis Boneka of the Department of Fisheries and Marine Science, Universitas Sam Ratulangi, Manado, North Sulawesi, Indonesia.

The Disciples were eye witnesses of the happenings around Jesus' life, death, and resurrection. They were Jesus' close companions and had first-hand knowledge of His claims. After Jesus' crucifixion they preached Him raised. Not only that, they preached Him raised amongst other eye witnesses to Jesus' life and death, even in the very city where He was crucified! This is Peter speaking in front of the crowd, post Jesus' resurrection, in Jerusalem: Acts 2:22 Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know: 2:23 Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain: 2:24 Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it. 2:29 Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulchre is with us unto this day. 2:30 Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne; 2:31 He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption. 2:32 This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses. Paul speaks of this quite clearly as well: 1 Corinthians 15:3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 15:4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: 15:5 And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: 15:6 After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. 15:7 After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. 15:8 And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time. 15:9 For I am the least of the apostles, that am not meet to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God. 15:10 But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me. 15:11Therefore whether it were I or they, so we preach, and so ye believed. 15:12 Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead? 15:13 But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen: 15:14 And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain. 15:15 Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ: whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead rise not. 15:16 For if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised: 15:17 And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins. Study the Resurrection, it is the linchpin of the Christian Faith. A lot of my POV on this is from Dr. Gene Scott; who lost his faith in college, then studied the resurrection for three years knowing that either these disciples were preaching a lie, or they were preaching the truth. At the end of those three years, he closed the last book with the knowledge that Christ had risen indeed. Here is a write up from a sermon, as one will be able to tell, I formed a lot of my ideas from Doc's different sermons touching upon the resurrection of Christ: http://www.resurrectionism.com/ If Jesus came out of that tomb, then we too can have faith in Him and His Father. Jesus claimed He would raise, so that is the question to answer - did He? We have other evidence that the body was missing, we know that in Matthew we have a popular theory crop up from the disbelieving Priests: 28:11 Now when they were going, behold, some of the watch came into the city, and shewed unto the chief priests all the things that were done. 28:12 And when they were assembled with the elders, and had taken counsel, they gave large money unto the soldiers, 28:13 Saying, Say ye, His disciples came by night, and stole him away while we slept. 28:14 And if this come to the governor's ears, we will persuade him, and secure you. 28:15 So they took the money, and did as they were taught: and this saying is commonly reported among the Jews until this day. So, we have the Disciples preaching Jesus had risen and in fact they preached He walked and talked and even ate with them after the Crucifixion. Remember, they were His close companions in life, eye witnesses to His teaching, death, and resurrection. We also know that the disciples were persecuted both directly after the resurrection, and in centuries later. Now, we examine the evidence of the changing Disciples, let's look at some examples: We've got Peter. Before the resurrection Peter denied the Lord three times for the sake of his own skin. He fled and hid, he could not be counted on. After the Resurrection, and then the coming of the Spirit, Peter finally fulfills the name Jesus gave him and becomes so firm in the faith he could not be intimidated. He came out in front of the hostile crowd at Pentecost and proclaimed Christ risen. How did Peter die? Crucified upside down for his teachings. We've got John. One of the Sons of Thunder, as Jesus called the brothers. He's one of the pair that asked the Lord this: Luke 9:52 And sent messengers before his face: and they went, and entered into a village of the Samaritans, to make ready for him. 9:53 And they did not receive him, because his face was as though he would go to Jerusalem. 9:54 And when his disciples James and John saw this, they said, Lord, wilt thou that we command fire to come down from heaven, and consume them, even as Elias did ? 9:55 But he turned, and rebuked them, and said, Ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of. Beloved John, ready to burn the unbelievers for their unbelief. We also have record of these Sons of Thunder being so bold and prideful to ask Jesus to be seated at His side, not only this, they sent their momma to ask Him for them. What happens to John after the Resurrection? He becomes the Apostle of Love, so from Son of Thunder to the Apostle of Love. How does John wind up? He is banished for his unmovable, un-recanted teachings, based on the fact that Christ rose from the dead. We've got Thomas. Skeptics love Thomas, as they should. The problem comes in when they don't let Thomas teach them. Good ol' doubting Thomas. Thomas doubted the Lord the whole time he walked with Him. He questions everything. After the Lord was resurrected we see Thomas questioning again. He's not going to be happy 'til he physically touches Jesus. After the Resurrection what do we have? Thomas never questioning the Lord again, taking the Faith to India, never wavering put to death by spear (some reports a sword) proclaiming the Resurrection of our Lord. We've got many other examples amongst the disciples; Bartholomew flayed to death with a whip in Armenia for proclaiming the Resurrection, Andrew crucified, Luke hanged, Mark dragged to death. We've got Paul; number one persecutor of the Christians. Loathed Christians, hated them. Jesus knocks him on his behind in the dirt, appears to him resurrected and Paul is a new man. These men were changed folks. Fundamentally, their very personalities changed. What changed them? They, all but perhaps one, were too scared even to be at the crucifixion of the Lord, hiding, but then what?! The Resurrection. Then what? These men willing to put all on the line for what they literally witnessed with their own two eyes. These disciples died alone, thousands of miles apart from each other. They died horrible deaths for their eye witness testimony. Did these men back the wrong horse, a dead man, and perpetuate a known lie? Or were they telling the absolute truth, a Truth they were willing to die for? They claimed and taught not just a faith, or a belief, they taught a FACT. That Jesus Christ rose from the dead and ate with them, that Thomas put his hand on Him, They never ever wavered!! I've also heard several atheists/agnostics admit that these men did indeed change, and that they can't explain why, but it couldn't have been because of the resurrection, because miracles can't occur, therefore it didn't occur, and anyone who says they did is wrong, because miracles can't occur, therefore they didn't occur, and anyone who'¦. Basically they fell pray to circular logic in an attempt to explain away the changes in these men. Some say, 'Well, what about all those other people that died for their religion?' In my college Logic class I teach all about comparisons. One of the first rules in comparisons is to ask some very important questions, the main one being; are the two things even comparable? In this case, these eye witness disciples deaths are not even comparable to the deaths of others defending their religions, even modern Christian martyrs. How so? All those other people died for firm belief, no doubt about it. Early Muslims died for a belief, they died for their faith, they died for what they thought was the truth. Atheist skeptics would have us believe these Disciples of Christ would have died for a known lie. Again, how is this different? The Disciples didn't spread the Gospel based on teachings, belief, faith, or private revelations from God, they spread the Gospel based on an Historical Event, or FACT, or Person that they claimed to be eye witnesses to the Resurrected Christ. There is no such objective, historical event, objectively verifiable at the time, that the Muslims, or any other believer has died for; the Muslims died for the belief that Muhammad has received instruction from God via private revelation, and for those beliefs passed on. We have the disciples preaching this FACT of the Resurrection to individuals who were free to go check out their story. The preaching of Jesus' resurrection was spread during all of these eyewitnesses lifetimes. These radically changed men did not die for a known lie that they had concocted. So, with the Disciples as eye witnesses, with the Disciples who gave up their lives for the message of the Resurrection, I too proclaim that Christ is risen! I too proclaim that this Historical Fact withstands the test of time! And I too proclaim that with Christ as our example we can hang our bodies and souls on the Promises of the Father. Our faith and beliefs are not blind, as skeptics would have other believe, but are based on historical events, logic, reason, and the Grace of God. For all the skeptics reading this, go make your own serious study of these facts, and make your choice. For those of you who do not trust the reliability of the witnesses in all of this, here is a good bit of free reading: Testimony of the Evangelists by Simon Greenleaf; Greenleaf, one of the principle founders of the Harvard Law School, originally set out to disprove the biblical testimony concerning the resurrection of Jesus Christ. He was certain that a careful examination of the internal witness of the Gospels would dispel all the myths at the heart of Christianity. But this legal scholar came to the conclusion that the witnesses were reliable, and that the resurrection did in fact happen. http://christianscribbler.wordpress.com/2008/07/06/aplogetics-the-disciples/ Luke 9:23 And he said unto all, If any man would come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. ----------------------- John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on him should not perish, but have eternal life.
