No, don't move! Don't forget, we're still playing.
Take care of Ron. Then go to the owlery.
Send a message to Dumbledore. Ron's right.
I have to go on.
You'll be okay, Harry. You're a great wizard. You really are.
Not as good as you.
Me? Books and cleverness. There are more important things.
Friendship and bravery. And, Harry, just be careful.
This is a 3D chess model I made from scratch using 3D Studio Max 9. The pieces, the board, the lighting, textures, etc. without importing anything. I also took the time to animate a game. I'm the white pieces and my friend is the black.

In what is arguably the greatest chess match ever played, Kasparov shows why he is considered to be the best chess player of all time in his "Immortal" game. There are so many amazing moves I lost count. Hopefully you learn as much from the game as I did studying it.

This video looks at the game that took place between Hetul Shah and Nurlan Ibrayev on January 11th at the 7th Parsvnath International Open chess tournament in round one.
At only 9 years old, Hetul Shah has entered the chess history books by being the youngest Indian chess player to defeat a chess grandmaster in a chess game.
While the grandmaster made a mistake in the game, Hetul Shah showed an an amazing ability to capitalize on the position and win the game, especially when one factors in his age!
Congratulations to Hetul Shah for his historic chess win!
Death appears to the knight and tells him it is his time. The knight challenges Death to a chess game for his life.

Welcome back to the Stone's Labyrinth. In this episode we defeat the stupid chess game and have to play an equally stupid fairground trick, while having a discussion on the finer points of character death in the Harry Potter series.
Explores a couple of attacking chess games in the King's Indian Attack white opening strategy. (ECO A08).
The King's Indian Attack is a great opening for beginners and chess professionals. It has been used by the likes of Bobby Fischer, and this video includes the famous Fischer game "A Night In Tunisia" played in1967. The video also covers a modern game between two of the world's strongest chess players, Radjabov (2761) vs Aronian (2750).

Deren's second experimental film, At Land (1944), reinforces her interest in the juxtaposition of anachronistic spaces and introduces a critique of social rituals. This film begins by reversing the natural rhythm with images of waves breaking and descending back into the sea. Starring again, Deren is seen climbing up a dead tree trunk on the beach, magically emerging onto a table where a formal dinner party is in progress. This 'civilized' world ignores Deren as she crawls along their dinner table. By depicting herself as invisible to the diners, Deren highlights the myopia of the guests. The dinner sequence in At Land ends with an enchanted chess game. A pawn falls from the table and descends back into the dead wood on the beach, it falls over rocks, into the water and is washed away over the waterfalls. Chasing the pawn, Deren is restored to her original landscape. - Wendy Haslem
