Broadway Theatre Critics Charles Gross & Jeff Goodman review the new revival of A Chorus Line with music by Marvin Hamlish
During my brother's Chorus Concert, the kid in the row above him looked like a ghost and ended up fainting twice that night, and he eventually went to the hospital. He was fine, but he still was sick for several days.
Named the 5th Greatest Male Star of All Time by the American Film Institute, Fred Astaire had a career as a leading man that lasted decades. Astaire is one of the best dancers in the history of film, and unquestionably the most influential. Second Chorus is one of Astaire’s finest films, since he’s still very much in his prime. Also, it doesn’t hurt that the absolutely stunning Paulette Goddard is the leading lady. Because of their natural chemistry both romantically and in dance numbers, Astaire and Goddard light up the screen. Second Chorus overflows with dancing, love, glitz, and passion that is not to be missed.
Members of the Red Hat Society Converge at Harrah's Las Vegas to break the Guinness World Record™ for "Most People in a Chorus Line."
The Las Vegas Strip was bright with more than just neon lights on Saturday, as members of the Red Hat Society gathered at Harrah's Las Vegas in an attempt to break a world record. Approximately 1700 "hatters" participated in the choreographed chorus line to welcome the new musical comedy HATS! to Harrah's Las Vegas and to kick their way into history.
"Our entire sisterhood is thrilled that Harrah's has embraced HATS! and the Red Hat Society as part of their family," said Sue Ellen Cooper, founder and "Exalted Queen Mother" of the Red Hat Society. "We wanted to let the world know that we're in Las Vegas and we can-can do anything!"

Conceptual video based on Oksana Chepelyk’s performance realised in Kiev at the Cultural Center of Deaf-Mute People researches the physical endurance degree of social body. Work is focusing on cultural transformations and communication. If gesture of deaf–mute has an informational capacity, the absurdity of collective gesture is transformed into existential metaphor. The video researches personal physical and political boundaries marked by rituals such as the parades, gymnastic pyramids and traditions. It is reverberation between exile and belonging, work with disabilities people underlines this idea. Project shows the impossibility of choice, of communication and lack of voice in collective Chorus.

New Zealand, 20 Aug 2007, Overlander train from Wellington to Auckland. The train broke down mid-route. The Aotea College Choir was on the train enroute from Wellington to the Barbershop Nationals in Ngaruawahia. While we all waited at the station, the chorus entertained us with an African song. BTW: this song won them "best world song" at the competition. (Thx to commenters for correcting me.)
P.S. For some reason when I uploaded the video, the audio was delayed by 2 seconds. I may try to fix that -- it's better with the audio in synch.
