Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of TrackMania: Build to Race from Firebrand Games, Nadeo and City Interactive for the Nintendo Wii. TrackMania: Build to Race marks TrackMania's first lap on a home console, bringing the series' customization-heavy focus exclusively to the Nintendo Wii. At its core, Build to Race is a simple racing game based on short courses with insane designs. The objective is to finish the course as quickly as possible, emphasis on quickly. The tracks are very short, because TrackMania is kind of like the WarioWare of racing games, in a sense. The gameplay is fast and frantic, and it's over before you know what hit you. This video review features video gameplay footage of TrackMania: Build to Race for the Nintendo Wii and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.
Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Sniper: Ghost Warrior from City Interactive for the PlayStation 3. Sniper: Ghost Warrior is also available for the PC and Xbox 360. Sniper: Ghost Warrior is a name that may bring back bad memories for Xbox 360 gamers unfortunate enough to have played it. But to the game's credit, it at least has a resilient attitude, because a year later, it's back. Sniper: Ghost Warrior is a kind of tactical first-person shooter. You're a sniper who shoots from cover, so you spend most of your time hiding, crawling and setting up a perfect angle to blow the back of someone's skull off. Rather than plowing through hundreds of enemies, each kill really has a sense of drama. You have to spend so much time setting it up that you do become invested in accomplishing the mission and making your shot count. The problem is that's about the only thing Sniper: Ghost Warrior gets right. This video review features video gameplay footage of Sniper: Ghost Warrior for the PlayStation 3 and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.

Logic Machines review. *******www.ClassicGameRoom**** Shop CGR shirts & mugs! *******www.CGRstore**** Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of Logic Machines for Nintendo DS developed and published by City Interactive. Logic Machines takes the rope-connecting, physics-intensive puzzle solving of Sierra's legendary Incredible Machine series, and offers it to the ancient Egyptian pantheon. As such, the player is constantly reminded that Ra and Anubis are sitting in stern observation of the gameplay, and that skilled performance may appease them. The tasks are varied, as are the tools available for completing said tasks, which can include interactive levers and touch-sensitive controls utilized while the simulation itself is running. This video review features video gameplay footage of Logic Machines for Nintendo DS and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's TJ.
