Final Fight CD review. Classic Game Room reviews FINAL FIGHT CD for Sega CD from Capcom released in 1993. Final Fight CD is an awesome version of Capcom's side scrolling beat 'em up classic arcade game where you play as three heroes fighting Mad Gear to save the mayor's daughter! Final Fight CD is on Sega CD (also known as the Sega Mega Drive Mega CD) and rocks to the extreme with amazing music and solid gameplay that's faithful to the original arcade classic. CGR Final Fight CD video review features Final Fight CD game play recorded from Sega CD with Sega Genesis.
Skylanders review part 25. Classic Game Room reviews the SUNBURN figure for Skylanders Spyro's Adventure for PS3, Xbox 360, Wii, PC, Mac, iPad and Nintendo 3DS. Sunburn is an awesome phoenix looking thing that comes with the DRAGON'S PEAK Adventure Set for Skylanders. CGR Sunburn video review features the Sunburn Skylanders figure for use with Skylanders Spyro's Adventure published by Activision. Sunburn likes long walks along the beach, smooth jazz and incinerating bad guys with his flamethrower attack, phoenix dash and teleportation assault.
Demon Attack review. Classic Game Room reviews DEMON ATTACK for IntelliVision released in 1982 by iMagic, a Space Invaders style game where you shoot Demons using your laser cannon and eventually blast their mothership called Pandemonium! Demon Attack for the Intellivision is a better version of the game than Demon Attack for Atari 2600 with sharper visuals, better animation and that awesome space ship mothership that you destroy! CGR Demon Attack video review has Demon Attack Intellivision gameplay recorded from Intellivision 2.
Fighters Megamix Game**** review. Classic Game Room reviews FIGHTERS MEGAMIX for Game****, the 1997 Tiger Electronics handheld. Fighters Megamix is a Sega fighting game that basically combines Fighting Vipers and Virtua Fighter 2 with characters from Virtua Cop and Daytona USA. The Tiger Game**** handheld video game console is a black and white jerky mess that sucks the fun out of an otherwise good game and replaces it with pain.
Astrosmash review. Classic Game Room reviews ASTROSMASH for IntelliVision from Mattel Electronics and originally purchased at Zayre! Astrosmash is an old school Intellivision game (being played in this review with the Intellivision II) that feels inspired by Space Invaders and Galaxian yet plays completely differently. In Astrosmash the player controls a laser cannon and shoots falling asteroids, UFOs and incoming nuclear warheads or something. What makes Astrosmash interesting is that you lose points if you miss asteroids so when the game gets hard you can watch your score go backwards. CGR Astrosmash video review features the Astrosmash video game cartridge, box, manual and controller overlay from the IntelliVision classic, ASTROSMASH!
Anomaly Warzone Earth review. Classic Game Room reviews ANOMALY WARZONE EARTH for Xbox 360, also available for mobile platforms like the iPad and iPhone and PC personal computers, Tandy and IBM compatible. Anomaly: Warzone Earth is a realtime strategy game that plays like a cool tower defense game in reverse!
Vectrexians review. Classic Game Room reviews VECTREXIANS for Vectrex, a 2007 release from Tutsonic in Belgium! Vectrexians is a love letter to Galaxian where players gun down aliens with a laser cannon on the GCE Vectrex Arcade System!
F-Zero Maximum Velocity review. Classic Game Room reviews F-ZERO: MAXIMUM VELOCITY for Game Boy Advance released in 2001 as a launch title for the new, radtastic GBA handheld. Classic Game Room crashes like a champ in F-Zero Maximum Velocity by avoiding the green pit stop areas which will recharge you (but where's the fun in that?). What I like about this F-Zero is the simplicity and the crashes, it's very cool the way the camera pulls back to show the burning wreckage and plays sad music. Boo hoo, you lost and you suck. But don't worry, your clone will take your place and probably also crash and die. CGR F-Zero Maximum Velocity video review has F-Zero Maximum Velocity gameplay recorded from Gameboy Advance SP showing Nintendo Game Boy Advance F-Zero game play in HD action.
Skylanders review part 24. Classic Game Room reviews Skylanders DOUBLE TROUBLE figure for Skylanders Spyro's Adventure, a magic element Skylander with extremely powerful attacks and Tiki-God styling. CGR Double Trouble Skylander figure review features Double Trouble gameplay from the PS3 version of Skylanders and the Nintendo 3DS version of Skylanders (he also works with the PC, Mac, Wii and Xbox 360 versions of Skylanders Spyro's Adventure and can be used in Skylanders Cloud Patrol for iPad and iPhone)
BlazBlue Continuum Shift review. Classic Game Room reviews BLAZBLUE CONTINUUM SHIFT for PlayStation 3 PS3 (also available for Xbox 360) from Arc System Works and Aksys, a 2D fighting video game with slick anime style visuals and wild character designs.
Black Hole pinball review. Classic Game Room reviews BLACK HOLE pinball machine from Gottlieb released in 1981, the awesome split level space themed pinball machine from the future!!!!
Donkey Kong IntelliVision review. Classic Game Room reviews DONKEY KONG for Intellivision released in 1982 by Nintendo and published by Coleco. CGR Donkey Kong video review features Donkey Kong gameplay recorded from the original Intellivision by Mattel, because as the box screams, this does not work on INTELLIVISION II!? Donkey Kong gameplay is pretty sloppy compared to other home console versions of the game and fans will want to avoid this crappy Donkey Kong abomination with two levels, awful controls and Porky Pig replacing Mario. If you're looking for a great old school home version of Donkey Kong get the ColecoVision version and avoid this.
Shogun Rise of the Renegade review. Classic Game Room reviews SHOGUN Rise of the Renegade for iPad, a vertically scrolling space ship shoot 'em up that plays with arcade style controls using the iCade joystick. Shogun bullet hell shooter is a SHMUP (or shoot em up) where you waste enemies with a variety of weapons like spread shot, lasers and homing laser beams.
Asura's Wrath review. Classic Game Room reviews ASURA'S WRATH for PlayStation 3 (also available for Xbox 360) from Cyber Connect 2 and Capcom. Asura's Wrath is a colorful interactive anime where players control Asura, one of the eight guardian generals, wrathing it up against his old friends who turn out to be bags of shlongs. Amazing visuals, good music and an engaging storyline with some good humor keep you hooked as button mashing and quicktime events drive the actual game play.
Frenzy review. Classic Game Room reviews FRENZY arcade machine from Stern released in 1982, the spiritual sequel to Berzerk. Frenzy is an awesome videogame, Frenzy is a great arcade game, Frenzy is in CODE OF SILENCE next to Chuck Norris!!!
Skylanders review part 23. Classic Game Room reviews SKYLANDERS Drill Sergeant figure for Skylanders Spyro's Adventure published by Activision, a tech element Skylander with giant drills that can fire like missiles and a roof mounted machine gun.
