Fishing Derby review. Classic Game Room reviews FISHING DERBY for Atari 2600 from 1980. This Activision produced classic video game features two pistol capped fishermen competing for big points by fishing to the death (maybe it's friendlier than that, but maybe not!) Fishing Derby is a cute game for a few minutes but gets old quickly and one wishes for dynamite to speed the job up. CGR Fishing Derby video review features the Activision classic Atari game, Fishing Derby, where you race to 99 points by catching fish. Fish near the surface score 2 points, the deep ones can score up to 6! Play one or two player. Fishing Derby footage from Atari 2600 Jr. shows Fishing Derby video game gameplay in HD action.
Devil May Cry 2 review. Classic Game Room reviews DEVIL MAY CRY 2 which was originally released in 2003 for the PlayStation 2 from Capcom. This DMC2 review features Devil May Cry being played on the PS3 from the Devil May Cry HD collection with HD visuals, art galleries and music. CGR Devil May Cry 2 video review features Devil May Cry 2 gameplay recorded from PlayStation 3 and the Devil May Cry HD collection from Capcom for PS3. Devil May Cry 2 is not the most popular game in the DMC series but still features multiple playable characters that have different stories and play through the game in different ways. DMC2 also has solid hack and slash action gameplay and looks great in HD.
Devil May Cry review. Classic Game Room reviews the first DEVIL MAY CRY from Capcom released in 2001 on the PlayStation 2. This review uses the Devil May Cry HD Collection version on PlayStation 3 which updates the PS2 version with widescreen HD visuals.
Devil May Cry HD Collection review. Classic Game Room reviews the DEVIL MAY CRY HD COLLECTION for PlayStation 3 PS (also available for Xbox 360) from Capcom that contains remastered widescreen HD versions of 2001's Devil May Cry, 2003's Devil May Cry 2 and 2005's Devil May Cry 3 Special Edition.
The House of the Dead 4 review. Classic Game Room reviews THE HOUSE OF THE DEAD 4 for PlayStation 3 from Sega. Break out your PS Move and prepare to shoot zombies in this familiar, fun entry in The House of the Dead arcade shooter on rails series. CGR House of the Dead 4 video review features The House of the Dead 4 gameplay recorded from PS3 using the PlayStation Move controller to act as the old school light gun in the shooter on rails which was originally released in 2006 to the arcades. Blast zombies, unlock the House of the Dead SP mode, play as G, waste more zombies and dual wield for that extra mayhem. The House of the Dead 4 is a solid, fun, on rails shooter than fans of the series should enjoy.... sadly it does not have a Sega Dreamcast release.
Williams Arcade Classics Game.com review. Classic Game Room reviews WILLIAMS ARCADE CLASSICS for Game.com which contains Defender, Defender II, Joust, Sinistar and Robotron 2084! CGR Williams Arcade Collection video review features Game.com Williams Arcade Collection gameplay in HD action recorded from the Tiger Electronics Game.com handheld video game console.
IntelliVision 2 review. Classic Game Room reviews the Mattel Electronics INTELLIVISION II video game system released in 1983! The original Intellivision was released in 1980 and featured an awesome wood grained strip (fake of course) as well as connected controllers and a large library of video games. The Intellivision II is smaller, lighter and sporting an external power supply and a serious lack of wood grain, yet it actually works. CGR Intellivision 2 video review features the Intellivision II videogame console in white/beige plastic with controllers and numerous games like Lock 'N' Chase, Astrosmash, Burgertime and Demon Attack.
Tiger Game.com review. Classic Game Room reviews the Tiger Electronics Game.com video game console. Released in 1997 the Game.com was ahead of its time with a touch screen display, internet connectivity and dual cartridge slots. Annoying it came with one of the worst screens ever created and the Game.com failed to find a market.
Skylanders review part 27. Classic Game Room reviews LEGENDARY TRIGGER HAPPY for Skylanders Spyro's Adventure. Legendary Trigger Happy is a Toys R Us exclusive Skylander figure for use in Activision's SKYLANDERS Spyro's Adventure. He plays the same as regular Trigger Happy but has blue fur and gold markings (instead of brown and white). Legendary Trigger Happy is a tech element Skylander who fires gold pistols filled with coins, has a minigun and tosses a pot of gold at enemies.
Vectron review. Classic Game Room reviews VECTRON for Intellivision released in 1982. Vectron is good. Vectron is just. Vectron is frustrating and so bizarre that you need to have it in your Intellivision collection now!
R: Racing Evolution review. Classic Game Room reviews R: RACING EVOLUTION from Namco released in 2003 for the PlayStation 2, a fun arcade style racing game mixed with light sim racer combined with a storyline and whining enemy drivers! Confuse and enrage your opponents in this catchy, fun racing game for PS2 that plays well with a driving wheel and has a good selection of cars and tracks.
RSEAT RS EVO3 review. Classic Game Room reviews the RSEAT RS EVO 3 from RSEAT.net, a carbon steel, fiberglass and synthetic leather racing seat with rugged construction that firmly holds your racing wheel in place. Optimized for use with high end video game wheels and pedals like the Thrustmaster T500RS, Fanatec GT2, GT3 and CSR as well as the Logitech G25 and G27 racing wheels. CGR uses the value priced Logitech Driving Force GT wheel which works with the seat provided you tighten it firmly and use some rubberized screws to hold the pedals in place (which is really easy to do). Build quality and styling are first rate and driving enthusiasts should enjoy the rigid arm that holds the wheel in place, although really tall people may find it confining. RSEAT RS EVO 3 is a nice looking, comfortable seat worth a look if you're into racing games like iRacing, Gran Turismo 5, Dirt 3, Dirt 3, M.U.S.H.A., NASCAR 2011 or F1 2011, many of which are featured in this review. Also featured in this review is the CGR 1972 El Camino with leather seats and the Sega Nomad playing Super Monaco GP in the El Camino, which is the ideal spot for playing Nomad. If you enjoy racing games on PlayStation 3 PS3, Xbox 360, PC or Sega Genesis then this is a driving seat to consider!
Toy Story 2 review. Classic Game Room reviews TOY STORY 2 for Game Boy Color published by THQ and Disney / Pixar in 1999 for the Nintendo GameBoy Color. This movie based game conjures up images of E.T. for the Atari 2600 because of it's complete incompetence as a video game. CGR Toy Story 2 game review features gameplay from Toy Story 2 on Nintendo Game Boy Color (played on the Game Boy Advance SP in this review)
Skylanders review part 26. Classic Game Room reviews CHOP CHOP for Skylanders Spyro's Adventure, an undead element Skylander with a sword, shield, armor and boatload of awesomneness.
Final Fight CD review. Classic Game Room reviews FINAL FIGHT CD for Sega CD from Capcom released in 1993. Final Fight CD is an awesome version of Capcom's side scrolling beat 'em up classic arcade game where you play as three heroes fighting Mad Gear to save the mayor's daughter! Final Fight CD is on Sega CD (also known as the Sega Mega Drive Mega CD) and rocks to the extreme with amazing music and solid gameplay that's faithful to the original arcade classic. CGR Final Fight CD video review features Final Fight CD game play recorded from Sega CD with Sega Genesis.
Skylanders review part 25. Classic Game Room reviews the SUNBURN figure for Skylanders Spyro's Adventure for PS3, Xbox 360, Wii, PC, Mac, iPad and Nintendo 3DS. Sunburn is an awesome phoenix looking thing that comes with the DRAGON'S PEAK Adventure Set for Skylanders. CGR Sunburn video review features the Sunburn Skylanders figure for use with Skylanders Spyro's Adventure published by Activision. Sunburn likes long walks along the beach, smooth jazz and incinerating bad guys with his flamethrower attack, phoenix dash and teleportation assault.
