Final Fantasy XIII-2 review. Changes have been made to streamline gameplay and fix some of the issues that fans had with Final Fantasy XIII which received mixed reviews. CGR Final Fantasy XIII-2 video review features Final Fantasy 13-2 gameplay recorded from Xbox 360 showing JRPG game play in HD action.
Prehistoric Isle review. Classic Game Room reviews PREHISTORIC ISLE review for PS3 from SNK Playmore, a side scrolling 2D shoot 'em up which is like R-Type meets Jurassic Park. Prehistoric Isle is a downloadable PS Mini from PlayStation Network that is playable on PlayStation 3 and PSP. Gameplay is hard as nails and extremely fun as you pilot an old school, 1930's airplane through a prehistoric island filled with killer dinosaurs, cavemen and mutated insects. CGR Prehistoric Isle video review has Prehistoric Isle arcade gameplay recorded from PS3. Prehistoric Isle is a horizontally scrolling SHMUP with intense game play that should appeal to airplane shooter fans looking for a challenge! Affordable and super fun.
Demolicious HD review. Classic Game Room reviews DEMOLICIOUS HD for iPad which is like a 3D version of Angry Birds meets Jenga in reverse playing at a circus with creepy clowns watching. Shoot down stacks of blocks with a circus cannon and score points in this fun, family friendly game for iPad which has excellent touch screen controls and challenging game play. The title captures the spirit of the game as well, delicious demolishing!! CGR Demolicious HD video review has Demolicious HD gameplay recorded from iPad.
Block Zombies review. Classic Game Room reviews BLOCK ZOMBIES, a block based graphical style survival shooter where you waste zombies and watch them explode! Zombie survival gameplay mixed with Minecraft or 3D Dot Game Heroes style visuals is super def to the max. CGR Block Zombies video review features Block Zombies indie game play recorded from Xbox 360. Block Zombies is developed and published by Nostatic Software.
The Pinball of the Dead review. Classic Game Room reviews THE PINBALL OF THE DEAD for Game Boy Advance released in 2002. This pinball video game for the Nintendo GBA is inspired (heavily) by Sega's awesome light gun shooter arcade game, The House of the Dead. The Pinball of the Dead contains three tables, each based on the arcade game, flooded with zombies, blood and gore! Pinball of the Dead video review features the awesome gameplay seen in this game as well as the solid controls and outstanding visuals. Each pinball table has multiple levels which works well on the Game Boy Advance screen, and the sound design is predictably cheesy as well.
Resident Evil Revelations Demo review. Classic Game Room reviews the RESIDENT EVIL REVELATIONS DEMO for Nintendo 3DS in anticipation of playing Resident Evil Revelations in 3D from Capcom.
"Skylanders Spyro's Adventure 3DS review. Classic Game Room reviews
SKYLANDERS SPYRO'S ADVENTURE for Nintendo 3DS, the 3D version of
Skylanders which is a completely different game the the home console
versions. Skylanders for the Nintendo 3DS is an action platformer where
your Skylander figures will jump and sometimes hover (depending on the
character) from platform to platform. Attacks vary between figures but
you can transfer your Skylanders library from the console versions of
the game to your Nintendo 3DS version of Skylanders. CGR Skylanders 3DS
video review shows daily element challenges, 3D graphics (in 2D) and new
arena style battle segments. Skylanders for the Nintendo 3DS comes with
Ignitor, Stealth Elf and the special Dark Spyro!"
Quarrel review. Classic Game Room reviews QUARREL for Xbox 360, a combat word game which is like Scrabble meets Risk! Quarrel is a tactical word game developed by Denki and published in 2012 by UTV Ignition for XBox Live Arcade. Why's the game called Quarrel? Because "fight" is only worth 15 points! It's Scrabble meets Risk -- I'll let that sink in -- as you vie for dominance of tropical islands by out-wording your opponents! Are you a bad enough dude to unleash your inner LINGUIST (14 points)? Compete against a BEVY (17 points) of AI foes or go online and express your superior lexicon! This CGRundertow video game review features video gameplay footage of Quarrel for the XBox 360.
Zack Zero review for PS3. Classic Game Room reviews ZACK ZERO for PlayStation 3, a side scrolling platformer featuring ZACK ZERO!!!!!! Zack Zero is a downloadable game on the PlayStation Network from Crocodile Entertainment for the PlayStation 3. Zack Zero has been on our radar for almost three years, an ambitious project from a rookie developer called Crocodile Entertainment. It's finally come to the PlayStation Network, and after several years in the cooker, Zack Zero has emerged a fairly pleasant surprise. The game follows the story of Zack Zero, a hero who sets off to rescue his damsel in distress. A lame story befitting such a lame character, but the strengths of Zack Zero are its beautiful vistas and its fun use of perspective. And its gameplay is...well, decent. This video review features video gameplay footage of Zack Zero for the PlayStation 3.
Star Marine Infinite Ammo review. Classic Game Room reviews STAR MARINE INFINITE AMMO for the iPhone, a Contra-like 2D side scrolling action game where you shoot everything that moves.
"Dead or Alive 3 review. Classic Game Room reviews DEAD OR ALIVE 3 for
Xbox released in 2001. DOA3 is a solid fighting game available as an
Xbox Platinum Hits title which plays on Xbox 360 and adds new
characters, new moves and new stuff from the original Dead of Alive 2.
CGR Dead or Alive 3 video review features DOA 3 gameplay from Xbox
(recorded from Xbox 360). Dead or Alive 3 has the standard storyline
mode where you play through as each character and unlock outfits,
animated endings and new stuff. DOA 3 is a fun, affordable fighting game
available for Xbox and Xbox 360 worth owning."
Amy review for PS3. Classic Game Room reviews AMY, a survival horror game where you protect a girl named AMY. VectorCell on the PlayStation Network for the PlayStation 3. Amy is also available for the Xbox 360 and PC. Amy is a survival horror game in which disappointment is the greatest obstacle to survive. It tells the story of Amy, an autistic girl with strange abilities. Playing as her caretaker Lana, you're riding on a train with Amy when there's suddenly a massive explosion. You regain consciousness to find a ravaged world where survivors are relegated to the shadows, mumbling about the end of days. The story is like a George A. Romero interpretation of Rain Man. Amy is the key to Lana's survival, and when you're separated, Lana experiences firsthand the horrific effects of the infection that's destroying the world. She starts to hear voices, she is haunted by visions...and if she doesn't get back to Amy in time, she dies. This video review features video gameplay footage of Amy for the PlayStation 3.
