Classic Game Room was the FIRST classic video game review show on the Internet in 1999. Returning in 2008 with new episodes, Classic Game Room breaks out a review of ROBOTRON 2084 for the Atari 7800 Prosystem. Robotron 2084 is one of the best old school classic video games ever created. You are a loner armed with a laser gun facing wave after wave of Robotrons hell bent on wiping out mankind. What will the year 2085 be like, how about 2086? This game asks a lot of questions and leaves few answers. But it does leave a wake of human carnage in its path. This is a hard shooter, sort of like Smash TV (hmmmm.... any similarities, maybe the same awesome designer??) CGRHD also reviews Robotron 2084 for Xbox Live Arcade and the Playstation 1 game console in the Williams Greatest Hits collection and also Robotron 64 for the N64. Do they have a version of this game on PS3 or Wii? On Xbox Live you can get achievements and gamerpoints.
Be sure to watch the original Classic Game Room episodes. Classic Game Room was the original classic video game review show on the Internet in 1999-2000, now on DVD. The HD series is reviewing PS3, PS2, Genesis, NES, Atari and Xbox 360. XBLA. videos review review show funny coin-op quarters
Classic Game Room HD reviews METAL SLUG 7 for Nintendo DS from SNK / Playmore and publshed by Ignition. Metal Slug is one of the best run and gun, 2D side scrolling shooting video game series ever created. Awesome action, beautifully designed 2-D visuals and intense gameplay. This CGR review of Metal Slug 7 on DS shows video game play in HD action on Nintendo DS. Metal Slug 7 has 7 stages, numerous characters and new "Slugs"! Plays with D-pad and buttons, no irritating stylus/button gameplay. Rated T for Too-Tough. Simple yet elegant, Metal Slug 7 is illin'. Those with a Sony PSP will want to look at Metal Slug XX which is basically the same game for the PSP with slight differences and a moderately smoother visual presentation, but keep in mind that Metal Slug 7 may be the best looking Nintendo DS game out there. Classic Game Room HD reviews SHIN MEGAMI TENSEI: STRANGE JOURNEY for Nintendo DS from Atlus. With more than 300 demons to battle or recruit and a wild storyline taking place in Antarctica, Strange Journey is just that... a strange journey into an anomole spreading to destroy the Earth. Although this Shin Megami Tensei game seems to be the most grounded out of the several I've played lately. Fans of good old school adventure RPG games like Phantasy Star and The Dark Spire will dig this one. It packs that unique Shin Megami Tensei demon collecting and fusing style into a classic 1st person RPG video game that works well with the Nintendo DS. This CGR review of Shin Megami Tensei Strange Journey has gameplay from the Nintendo DS release of Strange Journey showing video game play in HD action. You wear a cool suit in this game called the Demonica suit which gets more powerful as you gain experience. Players can upgrade the suit and buy new weapons, items, sub-apps and armor with Forma and items found within the anomole. Classic RPG adventure gameplay with that catchy Shin Megami Tensei style make this a must play for role playing game fans with a Nintendo DS. Video game comes packed in some of the best looking packaging that we've seen in years along with a soundtrack CD containing the unique music from the game.

DT Racer review for PlayStation 2. www.ClassicGameRoom.com Classic Game Room reviews DT RACER for PS2 from XS Games and Axis Entertainment released in 2005. There's many different things that DT can stand for but Quality Controls isn't one of them. DT Racer suffers from style over substance and has extremely poor driving gameplay mixed with awesome crashes, good music and cool replays (usually full of said crashes). Collect up to 26 cars from non-licensed but still-resembling real life cars like the NSX and Dodge Viper... or whatever they call them in this game. DT Racer gameplay is fast and challenging but cars fail with terrible understeer combined with on-or-off braking and poor visibility. CGR DT Racer video review has gameplay from DT Racer played on PS2 with widescreen visuals and stereophonic sound. The DT Racer cheat code to unlock / buy all of the cars from a new career mode is L1 L2 Triangle R1 R2 start career mode (from main menu). Interesting note, DT Racer works with the EyeToy camera and can take a picture of you and apply it to the game's driver icon. Good crashes, good tunes, terrible driving controls = DT Racer!

Zook fires missiles and mortal shells at enemies and packs a serious punch to go with his bizarre look.
Future Spa review. www.ClassicGameRoom.com Classic Game Room reviews FUTURE SPA from Bally released in 1979, a disco fresh look at exercise and relaxation in the future! Future Spa is an amazing wide body pinball table with beautiful, well drawn and painted artwork depicting a Logan's Run style future where people jog with mustaches and bath beneath women floating in space held by dissolving ribbons. You may want to avoid the water and lift light sabers instead... Set pleasure levels to ULTRA SONIC because Future Spa is as much fun to play as it is to look at!
Dragon pinball review. Classic Game Room reviews DRAGON from InterFlip released in 1977, a sci-fi dragon themed video game with naked women being eaten by dragons and the most awesome BWAAARR sound you've ever heard.
Corvette PS2 review. www.ClassicGameRoom.com Classic Game Room reviews CORVETTE for PlayStation 2 from Steel Monkeys, GM and Global Star Software. Corvette was released in 2004 around the time of Corvette's 50th anniversary as one of America's most iconic brands and this game features dozens of Corvettes starting from the first one up to the 50th anniversary C5 model.
Indy 500 review. Classic Game Room reviews INDY 500 for Game.com, a racing game based on the famous Indianapolis 500 auto race with black and white visuals that fail to impress and sounds that hunt down and destroy eardrums. The Tiger Electronics Game.com was an interesting handheld with a touch screen, dual game slots and Internet hookup but failed to deliver solid visuals which destroys gameplay on fast paced games like Indy 500. CGR Indy 500 video review features auto racing Indy500 gameplay recorded from Game.com in HD.
Gundam Battle Assault 2 review. Classic Game Room reviews GUNDAM BATTLE ASSAULT 2 for Sony PlayStation from Bandai released in 2002. CGR Gundam Battle Assault 2 video review features Gundam Battle Assault 2 gameplay recorded from PS3 (although this is an original Playstation 1 game disc). Gundam Battle Assault 2 (spelled Gundum Battle Assault 2 on the spine of the packaging) is an awesome PlayStation 1 fighting game where giant robots crush each other and machine gun their enemies with authority!
Bejeweled HD iPad review. Classic Game Room reviews BEJEWELED HD for iPad from PopCap, a fab touch screen version of the classic jewel swapping game with wormholes, deep voices and fresh jam music.
Fatal Fury 2 review. Classic Game Room reviews FATAL FURY 2 for Sega Genesis from Takara and SNK, the 16-bit version of SNK's awesome Neo-Geo fighting game originally released in 1992. Featuring improved visuals and sound compared to the first Fatal Fury on Genesis, Fatal Fury 2 also has more fighters (12 total that I know of) and a survival mode as well as six-button Sega Genesis controller support. Background visuals, fighter details and the overall graphics aren't up to SNK Neo-Geo standards but look good for the mighty Sega Genesis (aka Sega Mega Drive). CGR Fatal Fury 2 video review features Sega Genesis Fatal Fury 2 gameplay and characters like Andy, Terry, Mai, Big Bear, Joe Higashi, Cheng Sinzan, Kim Kaphwan, Axel Hawk, Laurence Blood, Wolfgang Krauser, Billy Kane and more.
